  • Thank goodness the holidays are almost over. I have been pretty focused...just not so much on weight loss. But that's okay. I have been doing really well with eating. I just need to get that exercise in there. I'm feeling a little slothful these days....I joined my local gym...something I only do in the coldest of the winter months...and am going to make a visit there once before the New Year. I'm a firm believer in ringing in the new year being able to live out your resolutions rather than starting them on the 1st. So, I'm going to ring in the new year already being alcohol free (I love a little wine, but it doesn't go so well with weight loss), already going to the gym, and already making most of my food out of my own kitchen.

    startting weight 243 im down to 212 i was proud that i didnt gain any weight through the hoilidays but i just wish i could exercise more than than what id do whick isnt much

    crazy day here today! not really feeling that well. a loss on the scale (i'm shocked!) after the holidays. whoot!

    Man this is frustrating! I just don't know what I'm doing wrong! I hoping that my before and after pictures show me something that the scale isn't. I've been working so hard and eating so well, if I don't see some results soon I might just :sad:

    sorry this wasn't posted yesterday! we were traveling all day and i didn't have time to log in before leaving town. if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO WALK OR RUN 3 MILES (OR 5k) AND BURN OFF THOSE EXTRA HOLIDAY YUMMIES. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun working up a sweat! :)

    i wanted to do this challenge but since i hit a tree on my toboggan and hurt my leg i can't do this weekend's challenge :(

    i am going to church on sunday and right now they are collecting money for a family in our town who has a member battling cancer..so we are giving the church at least $20 maybe more...normally i would go find a cause but i know these people and i also know they need this money..and if anyone reads this post....please keep these people in your prayers we just got word that the dad (the one with cancer) is really not doing good right now

    Ok, so I'm a bit behind... but I just found this thread, and I only have 5 pounds left to get to my goal. And I swear these last five are the hardest pounds to lose!!! I'm kicking up the intensity of my workouts in hopes that that'll work... I love seeing that I'm in 155, but come on, I want 150!

    My Zumba instructor is holding a fundrasier Zumba class in 2 weeks. She is fundrasing for the local humane society. I don't know if I can make it to class but I do plan on making a donation.

    Hi everyone, I'm Kelly. This exactly what I need to stay focused, I'm in! I am 33 years old and I run my own business selling cake props for people to jump out of. I lost my husband to a drunk driver in 2008 and have struggled to find a good nutrition/workout/life routine ever since.   • Hi, I'm Eleanor, 36, married with five kids aged 16,13,10,7 and 21 months. I could blame having kids as my reason for putting on four stone but I think it's more to do with me eating too much of the wrong foods and eating when bored!! I lost a stone through oct- dec but now I'm stuck. Put 2 lbs on over xmas but have lost 1 since :-)

    I would love to lose about 30lbs in total. I don't do much physical exercise, concentrating at the moment in trying to improve my diet first however we have a little pup who will be ready to go out in two weeks so a daily walk or two will be happening then, ive also recently started horseriding and am trying to go every two weeks.
