    tildastwisted - Good luck on the weight lifting! I've heard from multiple people the the "New Rules of Lifting for Women" book was great for them when they got started, though I've never tried it out myself. But I SO want to! Hopefully when I have lost some more weight I will be ready to try it and by then you'll probably be a pro and can give me pointers ;)

    tehzilla - Ahhhh!! I love it when something like that happens even if it turns out to be a fluke. It gives you like a surge of motivation! I don't know if you plan on weighing in on the gym scale or the home scale next week, but if you do switch scales just be sure to keep in mind that even if it doesn't show a loss, maybe you have lost some and it's just reading differently so you don't get discouraged. =)

    amouser - Hang in there! Be persistent and you will get it, be consistent and you will keep it!

    Ok now for my own stuff.... Yesterday went well, I got very near to my calorie goal and decided that it wasn't good enough so I got in a good 20 min workout and burned a couple hundred more calories. Then I was happy =) And I know it's weird, but I kind of almost already feel smaller... I don't look it in the mirror that's for sure, lol. Maybe it's just my mindset, but I'm happy about it regardless =D But at the same time I feel like maybe I might be retaining water? Just because my muscles are feeling tight and cramped up more easily every time I exercise. I don't know, I guess time will tell. I also had a mini-victory yesterday ~ my dear hubby bought a cake from the grocery store, and I had about half a piece and decided I didn't want anymore. Whoo! Take that, temptation! Anyway, looking forward to my next weigh-in on Saturday! Hope everyone has a great day!

    I lost 1.6 pounds this week. Just 4.6 pounds away from my ticker weight. I refuse to change my ticker.
    My goal is to get there again and get off this summer weight.

    I just signed up for 10 classes of Yoga today. My first class was today and I think I am going to like it.:bigsmile:

    OK, I'm in. I have been struggling terribly. I biked and ran yesterday and was up 2 pounds this morning! SO, I am back to using MFP because I REFUSE TO GIVE UP!!

    Had a stressful week with husband away from home on work trip. Managed to stick to calories although i did eat most of my exercise calories (wanted to save a few towards dinner out at weekend). Scales looking good though with two pounds down since last Saturday.
