Nope to breakfast, unless I'm hungry - I just eat when I feel hungry (normally 12 - 1pm).

Then you have still broken your fast :-p

How short must the interval between eating be for it not be breakfast? If I eat breakfast at noon, then don't eat again until 8 pm, would that be breakfast again?

I eat when I'm hungry. My "breakfast" is usually something really low like raw celery or carrots.

Yes. I usually eat 5-6 smaller meals, all around the same amount of calories (250-350).

I eat breakfast because of the whole "need to get your metabolism going" thing. And, I like to eat, so..... good excuse. Lately I've been eating Nutrigrain bars (strawberry!) every day because it's 120 cals, and if I eat it while drinking water, it will fill up my tummy enough. If I eat a lot for breakfast, I want to keep eating a lot all day long, and that throws me off.

I grew up eating breakfast and usually consume a little over 1/4 of my calories for the day. It's usually something along the lines of yogurt, oatmeal, blueberries etc (a big focus of my diet is less sodium more potassium)

I don't really care for breakfast, as I'm rarely hungry when I wake up. However, I recently started taking some new medication first thing in the morning that requires me to eat, so I have either an apple, banana, yogurt, or some kefir, depending on what sounds good at the time. Sometimes I have a cup of coffee as well. My calorie range for breakfast usually falls between 165-300 calories.

Interesting point made in the first sentence. I'm not really hungry when I wake up either. Yet within 45 minutes, I'm usually eating an egg or drinking a protein shake or smoothie. It's habit more than anything else. If I don't do either, I'm geniunely hungry within 2 hours.

To answer OP question, yes, I eat breakfast and it accounts for 18-20% of my daily caloric intake.
