Pinky - Thank you.. i needed our little time together last night.. It was an amazing night.. ;) And yay on your score on your shoes, and the size 9 dress.. :) I know you can pull it off and look amazing.. :)

ceelovejay- congrats on your daughters acceptance letter, exciting.. :)

Crystal - thank you.. :) Youre amazing as well.. :)

Happy Friday everyone.. Tgif for those that it matters for. Haha, not being me. Not soo much because I work retail. Remember, not to spend so much time on your butt today, up and on your feet. Doing your workout, walking, cleaning, something.. Keep on moving. Need to move that body to burn calories.. :) Drink your water, watch your food intake today.. :) We got this.. ;)

Looking for suggestions for week, 4 and then week 5 I will be looking for suggestions as well.. Week 5 im using St pattys day for the theme for the week.. :) So any ideas with that will be greatly appreciate..

After night out with my hubby, Im on cloud nine today. I feel the best I have in a while.. I think I needed that little bit of time with my hubby to make me smile.. :) he is the greatest in soo many ways. I feel blessed to have him.. And that hes never given up on me, even at my worst. :) Im slowly working on myself along with this weight loss. I need to quit being so hard on myself. And start relaxing more than i do. I often find myself unable to relax around people i know.. ;( I dont know why.

Even though today I was actually up a little (thanks sodium!!) I'm going to post my official weigh in as the lowest weight I got this week. Because I need that .6lbs to keep going!! LOL!

    Start weight: 233
    Week 3: 232.4

Not exactly what I wanted to happen this week, but here's hoping next week is better!

Tonight is the big double date with Hubs and the in-laws. I am seriously excited. I don't remember the last time I was looking forward to something so much, weird isn't it?

Besides last night's dinner, which was a royal disaster, I did really well this week and am proud. Today, I plan on working off some of that excess and being really mindful of what I eat since I know tonight will be a little over the top, along with tons of water! I hope everyone had a great week and is looking forward to a fun and/or relaxing weekend!

    Good Morning all!

Pinky…Nice score on the dress and shoes! The feeling must be awesome for you to get those smaller sizes!

April…as I said before, glad you had that time with your man. I definitely can relate..Time with the hubby is the greatest, especially when you don’t do it often enough. The adult store purchase…rooooowrr! (cat purr, lol)

Crystal…keep up the great work! Have fun on your travels and visiting with friends!

Ashley… you are doing fine…at least you are monitoring and trying to make adjustments! Even those small weight losses are to be celebrated!

Well, the scale was not friendly today, but I am not counting it because it is not my normal weigh in day…Thank God for Mondays…lolol!
Looks like we are going to have a warmer day, not sunny though. I am gonna walk cause I have been doing that a lot this week. Maybe pop in one of my exercise DVD’s. Back to work this weekend too.

Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Off today - so get to spend extra time at the gym. YAY! Since I was on-call last night, I didn't go to gym. :ohwell: Have to work this weekend. :grumble: Off again on Monday. I really don't like it when my days off are split. But it only happens once a month so I really can't complain.

I was reading the posts and thinking about how different we all are, yet have a common problem: too much weight. We are all at different places in our journeys as well. Personally, I am all about accountability and responsibility. I HAVE to be hard on myself to stay on track. I don't beat myself up for days (or even hours), nor do I feel major guilt when I go off my plan. I never have a whole day of "messing up". I actually plan for bad choices. Why? Because that's the reality in life. I can't live the rest of my life "on a diet". When I "cheat" I ask myself... am I willing to pay the price for this piece of chocolate? Will I be able to spend the extra time at the gym in order to eat these french fries? THAT is how I see things now. I can eat ANYTHING I want to. I restrict nothing. I just see the consequences as time in the gym. For me, there is no excuse NOT to work out. I don't like it, I don't enjoy it... but I DO IT - for ME! As long as it is a conscious decision, I have only myself to blame for my success/failure. In the past, I have started out doing great - then eat like an idiot for 3 weeks. Obviously, I wasn't ready for the journey. No more making excuses. It's a daily (sometimes hourly) decision. I CHOOSE NOT TO BE FAT. I am responsible for my body and what it looks like.

Well said! Thanks for the encouragement and reminder - I needed that!

As far as days being split - don't you hate that? I used to work nights (7P-7A) and I really did NOT enjoy it when my days were split up. I worked every Sun, Mon and Tues, but sometimes they'd throw in a Thurs, or something and it just threw me off. But like you said, it's only once in a while. I miss nursing, but I like staying home with the kiddos even more. Maybe when they're grown and gone, I'll be able to go back.

1 - 4 tablespoons of great value natural pizza sauce
    1 serving of Hormel pepperoni

I did last summer and it was horrible for me. No taste no matter what flavor I added to it. I just stick with regular pizza on occassion or even Papa Murphys chicken/spinach pizza... But that's just me.

Having one of those crazy busy emotional days and I'm exhausted and if I don't watch it I could eat the entire pantry and the refrigerator to boot.... I know we all have them.

Work was crazy, my husband is stuck on the road (broken down brand new truck, it's not good), one son is off at a retreat, and the other could care less what I'm doing. I'm so tired I couldn't have put my own bra on if I tried tonight, so I'm cozying up under the covers with a book and going to bed early. I stayed true to my calorie goals, so I'm proud of that, but I just can't work out today. Tomorrow my sister and I are hitting the road early to drive 2+ hours to this mall we love. We'll be walking and having fun all day and I want the energy to enjoy it! I'll do my long run (6 miles planned) on Sunday. That's all I've got!!!

    G'night.

I LOVE nursing! I've been doing it for a very long time now! I also loved staying home with my older 3 kids when they were little. (I was married then... and now, I am not!) In any case... I worked nights a long time ago - for about 2 years. Hated those hours!!

Checking in at the end of the week

I said I wasn't weighing today but I could tell there was a loss there!
I've done ok on the challenges except I did have a meal out with friends. We meet up once every 4-6 weeks for lunch and we always have a really good time. Went over on my calories that day but it was so worth it.

I've been really busy and haven't kept up with this thread like I usually would. Hope everyone is ok, glad to see those with the blues are finding their way through.

    Have a great weekend

So I had a good workout yesterday! YAY!

Working today. :grumble: I only have 4 patients to see so that's the up side! (SO glad NOT to be an ER nurse anymore!)

Have to go to the market after work for some fresh veg. Gonna make some more vegetable soup for myself. Having baked cod for dinner tonight. Maybe a small yam and fresh green beans to go with it. Really looking forward to that!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I absolutely love this. :flowerforyou: i really need this after the night I have had. Im not really beating myself up over my choices, but my tummy is telling me how much it hates me right now. You would think I would learn. Even if what I ate was lower in fat and calories than I would have. It was emotional eating and I went two weeks without getting into that vicious cycle. I was able to abstain from eating.... NOT sure why today was different, but I was quite miffed til I read this. thank you.

Nice job on the ring!! I hope you're feeling better! Don't beat yourself up about the binging. Just try not to make it habit. You can do it!
