Trying to get ticker to post, must be doing someting wrong, I started this program several times, last time on Oct 10 2010. I weighed 295.5, BP and Sugar was getting high. I am down to 225.5 right now, goal 180. Main differance this time went low carb, dialed down carbs to 35 percent of normal on custom feature. Am also useing tread mill one hour day, was going 3.5 MPH but moved it down to 3 MPH. Could walk at 3 MPH and read Kindle Books easier (you can change size of print) and calorie use only decreased from about 450 to 400. I am planning on doing this for life. Low carb diet seems to be reduceing my cravings for food plus am more relaxed.0

Thanks so much for the post. I also use the powered peanut butter, which is 2 tablespoons for 35 or 45 calories. It takes the same.0

Ok great post,I went and looked up Catabolic and Anabolic states ,wich I totaly get but it said its for gaining weight.So now I'm alittle confused.0

catabolic state means that the body is feeding off itself, you are not supplying it with what it needs and therefore are being counterproductive producing bad results. Anabolic means you are supplying the body with what it needs and are helping yourself out not working against your body. You do not need to go to the extreme where you are building bulk muscle and looking like a female body builder but staying just on the right side of the anabolic state will keep fat loss moving along.0

Oh and one more thing,I absolutly can not eat before I workout wich is in the morning,sick the rest of the day.I'm at a loss in this area0

might be the blood sugar spike after eating try just a protein with no or low carb see if that works instead.0

I just joined this site and couldn't believe it said I wasn't eating enough calories. I'm not starving myself to death on purpose, but I was trying to watch what I was eating. I'm exercising (brisk walk) 60 minutes/5 days per week and I couldn't understand why I wasn't losing weight. Now I guess I know. I need to eat more. It just sounds counterintuitive.0
