I started working out every other day now for the last 4 months and lost 30 pounds along with diet. But I kept my calorie intake at 1200 cals. and recently doing Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred. I noticed, I have increased in appetite lately and that I am always hungry. I guess, my body is telling me to increase intake.0

Well I am trying your advice this week; started Friday. I think you posted something somewhere else about zig-zag cals (or was that someone else?) Day 1: Maintentance Cals, Days 2 & 3: 300 deficit, repeat. Was that you?
Anyway, boy I am stuffed tonight having tried to eat all my calories today and leave only at 300 deficit. I guess bc I rode 25 miles today at avg. 16 mph, and danced 2 shows tonight (I'm a belly dancer) 60 min. I have a 500-something deficit and I just can't eat anything else so we will see. Would you be willing to look at my diary and give opinion?
thanks, and blessings.0 -

Great information. I am one of those who is afraid to eat too many calories, I work our 4 times a week, wiegh myself daily, don't eat breakfast because I am not hungry. Will have to change some things to see if it works out. Thanks for the info.0

This is a well written post that is not as preachy and condescending as half of what I read here, or if it is, I just liked it.
Thanks!0 -

As a newcomer to this process, I'd really like to thank you for explaining this so clearly and fully. I posted just last night that I had 700 exercise calories left after dinner that I didn't know what to do with, and many people advised me that I shouldn't worry about eating them. I appreciate everyone's advice, but I'm very grateful to learn everything your wrote in your post. I will look into the topics you suggested and educate myself. Thanks again!0
