    I gained a pound this week. My DH and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary, but I didn't think I went overboard *that* much. Perhaps it was salt. :tongue:

    Why did I gain weight?

    I was ultra skinny until college, and could eat whatever I wanted. When I got to college I was 110, I just continued on eating whatever, but even worse now that I wasn't getting my 3 square meals from my mom. Plus, add in all the drinking... I remember 2 years later I had a summer internship and the shipping dock had this huge scale for weighing shipments. As a joke, the guys would weigh in after coming back from lunch, one day I bravely stepped on.... 150! So, after seeing that number on display for the whole shipping doc to see (it was a big red digital readout on the wall, about 10 feet up), I got serious, quit smoking, joined some athletic clubs, started a meal plan with my roommates, and by the time I graduated college I was 130. Since college, I have mostly been 135-140, but after a serious 6 months of effort, I got down to 127. Then I got pregnant. I had morning sickness pretty bad and all that seemed to help was lots of carbs. I was up around 185 at the end of my pregnancy, and 6 weeks later I was 140. Breastfeeding kept me there without too much other effort, so I got back into poor eating habits., but then just before Christmas, I stopped nursing and immediately gained weight. Now I'm 146, and I would be thrilled to be in the 130s again.

    Hi Everyone,

    Update on the 12 weeks Till Summer Challenge. By the way I am 4'11 and 1/2". Almost 5'...lol. I find it is more difficult to lose weight being short, it seems to take me longer than my taller friends :cry:

    I didn't lose a pound last week. I bought the 30 day shred and will start that this week. Hope it helps!
