A super simple way to spice up rice with out the soy sauce or butter is:
-1/2 cup of Brown, cooked rice.
-1 or 2 Low fat wedge/s of laughing cow cheese.
-1/2 tsp of garlic powder
-1/2 tsp of paprika
-1/4 tsp of fresh basil (dried is good too)
-1/4 tsp of black pepper
1. Place laughing cow cheese wedge and all the spices in a small bowl (One you would use for cereal).
2. Using a fork, mix until the spices are completely incorporated.
3. Add rice to cheese bowl and mix until the rice is coated.
4. Microwave the bowl for a few second to melt any cheese that has stuck to the bottom of the bowl.
5. Using a fork, mix the rice and cheese again, making sure to gently scrap the bottom of the bowl.
6. Enjoy! This produces one serving.0 -
Laughing Cow is about the only cheese I keep around but I never thought about using it in all these ways. This is a great thread! Thanks for sharing your recipes everyone - I can't wait to try some.0

I like to use it instead of other condiments on a turkey burger
I've actually done the same thing but for any other sandwich that I would normally put cheese or mayo on.
I all the ideas in here! Thanks all for sharing!

I LOVE garlic & herb laughing cow spread on a sandwich or a wrap as a cheese or mayo replacement, add some baby spinach good quality meats get creative its even better than any bistro place. mmmm
whole wheat pasta, zuchinni, baby spinach, tomatoes, choice of meat or eggplant
sautee veggies in some evoo with salt pepper and garlic, boil water and cook pasta
then drain pasta and add it into your frying pan(turn heat off or very low) with the veggies, place 1 wedge (per serving) of garlic and herb laughing cow in to pan and stir to melt, add a dash of fat free 1/2 and 1/2 or some cream to thin it if you like, or add in some tomato sauce, sooo yummy top with meat or eggplant 9 I like chicken or mix in ground turkey)0 -
i also use the weight watchers version of the spreadable cheese wedges. they're bigger wedges for only 30 calories and they are delicious!! I like to take the jalapeno cheese and spread it on a pounded out piece of chicken and roll it up secure with a toothpick and bake. also I mix it with some cooked scrambled eggs or spread it on a bagel thin and add lettuce and tomato ...can we say YUM!?0
