    4 miles today (walking with some running)

    I am very excited. Tomorrow I am running/walking a 5K. My hope is to run more than I walk. We will see tomorrow. :blushing:

    Good luck! I am doing my 1st 5K on the 4th of July and I am hoping to be able to run most or all of it by then :smile:

    Walked 2 miles with Leslie this morning, and I've added the 30DS workout to my daily activities as well! Planning on walking 1 more mile later this evening, so I'll count it now.

    27/90 miles complete!

    Took a wonderful walk with my daughter (in her stroller) ...60 mins ...burned 638 calories :bigsmile:

    Another 4 miles today - up to 41 miles! Only 4 more to meet my April challenge!
  • I am new to this board. I have crohns, rheumatoid arthritis, and the onset of osteoporosis. I am only 35. I have gained 65lbs from various medications )steroids) and I HAVE to lose this weight so I can feel like me again. I have been walking 2 miles a day Hoping this will help. Does anyone else walk 2 miles day and have lost or do I need significantly more miles!?
    Please add me as a friend and help me stay motivated! LOL

    Managed 5 miles with Leslie Sansone this morning then 3 miles later in the morning. 8 miles today!!!!

    Good Evening/Day Everyone,

    Have been out for a nice 1.5 hour session in the countryside tonight.Very peaceful and relaxing.

    Everyone is doing so great! I'm still struggling to get outta bed this morning (Did a shredding session yesterday), but once I do I plan on getting some more miles in. Will check in later, but just wanted to say great job all! Happy walking

    It's my belated Mother's Day today. I ate almost my entire day's calorie intake this morning, for breakfast (my daughter made pancakes!!!). But I got myself lazy bottom out of bed and walked 5 miles with Leslie (5 day slim down), burned 502 cals in the 70 mins it took!!!!!
    Then went for a leisurely walk with my family this afternoon. All in all - around 7 miles today!!!!

    1.5 hours for me today a combination of treadmill and a village walk.

    Went on the treadmill today 45 mins...i wanted to do more but am beat I did alot of gardening.

    Added 1 1/4 mile yesterday - total to date is 11.5 - heading out in a bit - may get some more walking in with my girls.

    Question for those of you that have done this challenge in previous months - did you notice a visible difference in body tone/firmness? I've logged 20 miles so far this month and my goal is 60 by the 30th...and I may sound crazy, but I think I already see an improvement!

    Ooops.

    Pressed reply early. meant to say that yes I have noticed massive changes since I started walking each day in january.I hope that you keep on enjoying the walks and progressing towards your targets.

    I have just completed another 2 hour walk in the countryside in glorious sunshine.

    You can still join in on the fun! Perhaps estimate how much you've walked since the beg of April and keep more precise track from now on?

    Only got two miles in today even though my goal was 5 or 6... Tomorrow I'll try to get an earlier start!

  • Haven't done well this month - too much going on during spring break and even though I walked a lot I didn't keep a good record of it. Today is back to normal again so I should be better the rest of the month! I am still working towards my goal.
  • Walked 6 miles today! Love the warm weather!

    The weather was warm and breezy ahhh...nice workout on the river. I did a solid 25 mins...didnt get to do my first time at walking club (something a friend of mine put together)...but maybe tomorrow night!
