your 1850 calories is already a smaller number of calories than your body would require to maintain your weight. This is why you lose weight eating 1850 calories. When you want to lose more weight or you reach a weight that 1850 does not create a deficit for, MFP changes the calorie number to get you to continue to lose weight example 1360 calories. Since both of those totals already create a weight loss situation, when you burn calories with exercise you need to eat those calories back in order to stay on track and prevent starvation mode. The calorie totals that MFP provides are close to what is called basal metabolic rate (BMR). BMR is the number of calories the body requires to keep your tissues alive and functioning, any daily activity requires more calories on top of that, or your body will go into starvation mode and will save everything it gets to fat storage just in case it doesn't get anything again. This is not what you want. Do not worry about the new calorie total, just know that no matter what calorie total MFP sets for you, you have to eat back your exercise calories or your body will fight you back and store everything to fat.
