Rested up for ms 150 this weekend (150 miles on a bike in 2 days) so I didn't get my cardio in this week. Back at it next week. Hopefully 2 days on a bike will knock off a pound0 -

I don't have time at this second to read through everything and look at all the photos and progress, but GREAT JOB EVERYONE!! We're in this together and that's how we'll succeed.
As for my progress, I'm not taking an after picture for 3.2 more pounds, so I'll post my measurements now and the pic then.
Challenge start: 15.5 in (neck) / 42 in (waist) / 49.5 in (hips)

I'm happy to say I lost 2 lbs. since my last weigh in and that was being on vacation in Florida. I know I didn't eat as well as I could have but we did a lot of walking. Since Wednesday I've gotten my eating back on track and now I need to work on my exercising.
It was great to see all of the losses last week. WAY TO GO EVERYONE!!!

I knew I needed to, but it really as for my nieces wedding in April 2010. I started in January 2010. Didn't do as well as I wanted to, so I continued on. I'm still going.0 -

Random question of the day: What made you decide to lose weight?
Two things that happened concurrently, I was denied individual health insurance because I was considered morbidly obese...WOW...I didn't realize a size 18 was morbidly obese. Also, I went to Miami with my friends and I was so uncomfortable in my swimsuit, but they were just carefree. That month I joined MFP, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made!0 -

what made me want to lose weight?? I gained some a few years ago, and then some with each kid. So obviously I want that to be gone. But more so I want to get my binge eating disorder under control before I get full blown diabetes. I knew it would happen one day, but one day is so far away. I ended up with undiagnosed 3rd trimester gestational diabetes and my baby suffered for it after he was born. He is a healthy 4 months now, but "one day" doesn't seem so abstract anymore!0 -
Random question of the day: What made you decide to lose weight?
being 227 when I went into labor was a huge wake up call. I only gained 5 while pregnant but it made me realized, I never want to see the 200's again. I don't want to be the unhealthy mom, i don't want to be the fat mom and I don't want to end up like my own mom who has a multitude of health problems and always feels sick or in pain. I want to run and play with my daughter. right now, I am so close yet so far from my goal but like they say, slow but steady wins the race.0 -

Random question of the day: What made you decide to lose weight?
Because I couldn't fit into anything and had to go to double digit pant size for the first time in my life. I had a baby 2 years ago and figured it was about time to get rid of the baby weight. And teach my daughter how to live a healthy lifestyle and teach her how important exercise is.
Question of the week - I have done perfectly the last 2 weeks, upped my workouts, watched every little thing I put into my mouth, upped my calories, and started strength training and haven't lost one oz. After many hours of research I guess I am in a plateau (i'm on week 11) so I just keep trucking along but I don't know what else to do so any advice is welcome : )0 -
I crushed my first mini goal and I am only 1lb from my second, I hope I can keep going at this pace!!

Weighing in... I am down 1.5 pounds (from 185 to 183.5). Fell short of my mini goal (180.5), but hopefully I can do that within the next week or two.0

Weigh in today......238.3 for a loss of 2 pounds this week. I am pretty much right on track on losing 2 pounds per week. :bigsmile: Which is really good since I had a very difficult week(Tom and lots of cravings) :huh: I have to drink more water and start exercising. :drinker: This week I celebrated saying goodbye forever to the 240's and hello to the 230's and losing 40 pounds in 100 days with MFP. So I just have to hang in there, it's a long journey but we will all get there. Good job everyone!

Random question: What made you lose weight?
In November for my birthday, my sil invited hubby & I to go to St Thomas ...spur of the moment. I was at my heav iest ever, even more than when I was 9 months pregnant. We were in bathing suits everyday. My sil is a size zero
My other sil is 5'9" and wears a size six and my niece is 18. They always wanted to line up for pictures. I kept trying to hide under a sarong?
After Christmas, my mom got me an android. I found the MFP app shortly after and I'm so glad I did.0
