THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Reflection and Change

We are half-way through our challenge. It is a perfect time to refect on how the last 6 weeks have been. Think about the changes that you have made in your life. Have you given it your all? Did you fall off the wagon? . If you are making great progress, offer advice to others that seem to be having a hard time. Come up with a game plan for how you are going to succeed over the next 6 weeks of this challenge.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is your most recent non-scale victory (NSV)?

NSV for me has been my belt. I'm 3 notches smaller than when I started. My 19 year old said, "You're looking good, Mom! " And my husband grabbed my behind the other day and said, "There's not much there to grab anymore!"

I did hit a definite speed bump this weekend with my diet...Easter candy and extended family feasts. I'm back on track and trying to work off the damage....Time to Shred!

My NSV - Logging on for 35 days in a row and not eating candy/chocolate for the entire period of Lent - and not missing it too much either  Used to munch my way through a family size bag in one sitting so am proud of my achievement.

Reflection: Having to report weekly to a challenge has definitely helped me with my discipline! :flowerforyou:

NSV: I can see a real difference in my face! However, now I'm looking more like my eldest sister, which I don't appreciate (some strain there.) Guess I have to get over that. :ohwell:

Reflection of the last six weeks will help me with recommitting. Feeling uninspired to workout this week and Easter has briefly de-railed me food wise. I'm going to rally for the rest of the week and get back on track and ready to lose that last 10 challenge pounds.

My NSV - went to buy some workout capris and for the fun of it tried on a size large.....I ended up buying them because they fit perfect! I can't remember the last time I wore a size large pant. :)

I know somedays I am going over my calories but when I really look back theres not many days i am doing that ...I also workout almost everyday n always drink my water ....but then I get on the scales n its the same or a 1 loss....been having so many weeks of staying the same that it gets very depressing....would love some advice if anyone has any to offer...Thanks so much for this challenge although I havent done to well but really hoping for something more successful before the 6 weeks left :)

It would be easier to help if your food diary was open. Are you tracking sodium? Sodium IS water retention. 1lb a week IS a very healthy way to lose. Easier to keep off.

so far, my week is good but don't wanna jinx it. Kinda nervous though because most of the way through this challenge, i'm getting boudoir pictures done as a welcome home present and i'm kinda nervous since it's been weird being this small after being overweight my entire life. eeeek wish me luck.

NSV: I was home this past weekend, and my dad commented on my weight loss! He NEVER notices that kind of thing! (He also JUST noticed my mom's been losing weight, and she must be down 30 pounds or something. He's not very observant!)
