Back home and back on track. I did lose a half inch on my waist though and TOM sure doesnt help. I am sure my weigh in at the end of the week will be better0 -

Well, no change this week... but I'm seeing that as a good thing. I am actually down in the 140's and have stayed there a solid week without the 150's sneaking up on me again. That's great for me. So, I won't be hitting my mini goal, but that's okay! Things are gonna be a bit crazy for me this next week, but I'm in the process of trying to reevaluate the foods I'm eating - I hope that makes a difference! On to my last week of the 30DS!

Hi! I'm not weighing myself this week due to so much stress this week with final projects ( I passed out ) I haven't ate efficiently and only have worked out +500 calories for two days cause of time. - my scale is at the gym and i have a huge final to study for tomorrow!
But i'm still in it!! :-)0 -
173. No change. I guess that is better than a gain. Wanting to lose the last few pounds of my mini goal of 20 pounds lost by May 1. Didn't quite make it. I am going to do better this month and I am going to exercise more than 30 minutes a day. Good luck everyone!!0

I'm still sitting at 282. Not surprising since I didn't make the time in my schedule last week to properly log everything. But this is a new week and a new start!

Weigh in today... 213.5 lbs. ... up 2.5 lbs since last week :mad:
So now it's time for a lecture...TO me, FROM me! Am I really serious about making a life change and both eating healthy and making regualr exercise a part of my life?? It would not appear so from my progress over the last few weeks! I have been playing with the same 2 - 3 lbs for over a month. That is ridiculous! Yes I have "good" excuses, but the bottom line they have been excuses that I have been using to try to rationalize the fact that I have been too undisciplined to plan and log my food regularly, and too lazy to incorporate activity/movement/exercise into my day.
I am 58 years old. I have not been faced with diagnoses with any weight related illnesses, but my doctor has been warinng me of the possiblity of obesity linked conditions literally for YEARS.
It is time for me to truly make up my mind that I care enough about me, and those I love, to treat myself the best I can by actually taking care of my body! I have a brand new granddaughter who I want to see grow up so the time for me to "get off the pot" is NOW.
Thanks for letting me vent! lol Better results are ahead! I truly wish to say goodbye to these pounds forever.
And congrats to all who have lost

One would think that since we had tornadoes that wiped out the majority of a neighboring town and left us on the outskirts out of power for almost a week, I would have lost some weight. LOL Only being able to cook on a grill/fire or in the toaster overn hooked up to the generator, we had to cook pretty much fattening foods. So, I don't have any loss to report. But, we do have power back! LOL Thank goodness.0

It sounds like you are taking care of yourself just by being aware of your unhealthy habits. To me, this is the first thing to tackle before seeing any weight loss (at least number-wise). Making better choices slowly will make you stick to them in the long run and that's what's important. I know you can do it and that you are serious about it or you wouldn't be here logging and posting. So we are all here to support you and sometimes "push" you! You will do this because of your granddaughter and for YOU and endless other reasons!
The thing I try to tell myself is the days of putting my health last on the list of "to-dos" for the day should be over. My body's health is the most important thing I have and can control. How does it make sense to take care of other things first and stress out over them when my health is not where it should be?? Be well!0 -
