    My 2 cents:

Anything "progress pic related" , like showing off how far they've come, as long as there's no nipple, nuts, or snatch, is fine with me, I don't even care if it's a thong-ed *kitten*.

I have more revealing pics on here than I do on facebook, simply because I am here to make my *kitten* look better, I am not on facebook to make my *kitten* look better.

I too am old fashion. There is a difference between a bathing suit bottom and underwear. I don't want to see it here. Like the gentleman before me said "if you would not show that picture to your mother [or your pastor]:noway: it don't belong on here. Like I said I am old fashion and proud of it.

Just curious but what IS the diffrencebetween underwear and bathing suit bottoms? I dont see it.
Would if you the type of person who does not care what kind of pictures you mother sees of you, what do you go by then lol
I was wondering the same thing LOL

I guess for me it's a matter of taste and appropriateness. I'm a pretty open person and I think the human body is beautiful, and sexuality is a great thing. But there are still some things my 7 yr old son shouldn't see... and if he shouldn't see it, I surely wouldn't post it here (cause any pic posted on the net is available in some way forever...did you know that?)

Well I cant really go by that because I used to be in the adult entertainment industry,so you never know what might be floating around on the internet of me.My teenager has YET to come across anything, and I dont really care if anyone else comes across them.Im not ashamed.

My mother was a hippie who dropped acid...Pretty sure I could show her anything. So I guess the whole "if you would show it to your mother" point depends on the mother.

Since I never really answered this. I say Kudo's to anyone who feels comfy enough to show it. Were all adults here. You seen one butt you seen them all. As long as I cant make out the skid marks, or neather region hair I am ok with it. :drinker:

depends on the context. My other half sending pictures of his butt to another girl, yeah, id have an issue with, but seeing pictures of peoples butts clothed, in a general context, or before and after pictures of weight loss for example, no, i wouldnt have a problem with.

Personally, those pictures don't bother me at all, except when people post them for the sole purpose of thumbing their noses at the forum rules and are trying to see how far they can push the envelope. I think that's just childish and silly.

^^This, is where I stand. I find trends like b00bie or b00tie Friday to be utterly ridiculous. I don't care about people's particular assets (mine are plenty), but when people choose to post photos of their breasts and butts simply to give an eff-you to this web site and the people who work so hard to maintain it, then I would prefer that those users would take their disrespect and calorie counting somewhere else. Nude bodies and partially clothed bodies do not offend me, but that doesn't mean that this site is the place to post your MySpace-ready, soft p0rn photos.

The creators of this site are happy to give us a place to share our stories and cheer for each other's success. But if you need people to see everything in order to feel like your journey was worth it, then you need to do some serious internal work and get in touch with who you are. There simply aren't enough compliments to fill that kind of emptiness.

That is why I wholeheartedly disagree with those who are saying that posting an underwear pic takes confidence. I think it shows a complete lack of confidence. I have seen users with absolutely amazing bodies who manage to show off their hard work without a single image in their underwear. When you know that you have worked hard and your results show, you do not have to show everything in a desperate hunt for compliments.
Since you agreed with me, I felt like I need to chime in again because I don't think we're completely on the same page. It doesn't bother me when people show off their bodies. I don't think that means they have a personality disorder. And even if they do, it's no skin off my nose. Heck, we're all needy in one way or another. Semi-nude or even completely nude pictures aren't the issue to me personally. They bother me only if they're being posted deliberately to break the rules. I figure the site founders have the right to run this place the way they see fit, and I appreciate so much what they do for us that it bugs me when I see people doing things to deliberately make it run less smoothly. That's all.

I don't care what anyone else does. It doesn't affect me. I have practically made minding my own business into a hobby.

I have yet to see scrotums or labia and even if I did, I would probably just say "That's weird" and move on.

The bathroom is okay, as long as you are quick and it isn't immediately after everyone has eaten.

No one is saying anyone should be ashamed (I don't think.) But given that background, wouldn't you still agree that there is a time and place...and that it's not appropriate in some places or around some people?

i mean who gives a crap? really? its not my business. if i don't like i don't look. if i do like it, i oggle the crap outta that photo.

Uuuhhhhhhhh....... I guess I'd better pull the the picture off of my profile where I'm strutting my favorite Banana Hammock ....
    Hahahaha Banana Hammock
I'd bet a big chunk of change that more than a few of us ladies clicked on his profile to see if he REALLY had a banana hammock pic in there ... he doesn't, but those Incredible Hulk pics are great!

I have to vote with the folks who've said the pics are okay if they're showing off results rather than some other motive. I do like the idea of adding "warning-bra & undies" for the sake of those at work, at the library, or who perfer to skip that particular post. It's always nice to be considerate of others. Personally, if you want to be considerate of me then you'll post more chest, bicep, and back pictures guys!

I kinda think if you get on the net you should expect to see it somewhere, hell ive seen T&N on the ADS on this site. Ive seen ads on this with pictures of girls in underwear posed very suggestive.

 Different ads than I've seen. What are you googling?

It's definitely a fine line, and very subjective. That's why the TV/movie ratings people have struggled with how to classify stuff. Tricky to find the right balance of what goes too far and what doesn't.

Do I have a personal problem with some of the risque pics - eh... there are some I don't find attractive, but I wouldn't say they bother me. I have risque pics of my own. Do I think this is the proper arena to display them? No. That's not what I'm here for. I don't think there's any great benefit from displaying those kinds of pics. And no, we're not talking about simple before/after underwear pics. There's a difference between standing in front of a mirror in undies and taking a progress pic --- and laying on your bed with your legs spread or shoving your tatas out and baring everything but the nipple or pulling your thong up your crotch and sitting on the camera. The point being that without rules there will always be someone to push the envelope. Someone who doesn't know where that line is.

    Totally agree with this.
I think of this site more of a muscle/fitness/improve your body composition/health/be the best that you can be kind of site, and I think the human body is an amazing, magnificent thing. I love to see the reality of before and after shots, because they really nail what hard work and dedication can do. And that is so inspirational. It's similar to when Jamie Curtis came out with that 'This is me- warts and all' photo shoot. That was so liberating!!! I love to see the harsh reality of what people started with compared to the beauty that they have attained with due diligence. It gives me hope.
In essence, I don't care what people are wearing when they choose to share these photos, as long as they are wearing something! But I believe the human body is a beautiful thing in and of itself, and these types of photos do not need to be "sexed up".

I actually spent a whole month googling the strangest stuff I could think of (which is pretty strange) to see if it would change my ads and all I got was half naked girls lol

I think it depends on the intent.

I don't necessarily like the underwear pics because I don't find their taste in lingerie/undies to be good. I have seen many pics with dirty bras and that's just nasty...god knows what the underwear is like.

Personally, I don't think posting yourself in underclothes on the internet is very smart, unless you cut your head/face out of the picture. If I'm goin' down, it won't be because of a pic I posted to show progress.

LOL I definitely agree with the nasty underclothes!

I too thought at first...whoa what the......when I first saw some half nakie shots but then remember this is a website about bodies so atleast it make sense to have body pics.

I wouldn't do it personally since it is the internet but then again if I ever get that 6 pack back I might have a shot of those on here. I really regret not taking a pic the first time I had them!!

I like it! i like the confidence that's behind it. If I see a girl with an amazing body, I'm impressed and motivated. No probs with it at all.....

Exactly... girl or guy. what i don't like is people shutting down threads...EVER.
For goodness sake, folks... if you don't like it . Don't look!

My parents are no longer with us. I don't belong to a church. I'm an artist and more or less self employed.

So my guideline is... would I want my neighbors seeing me like this? I don't particularly LIKE the idea of my neighbors looking at me in a bikini, but I have a little pool in my yard, and no privacy fence, so it happens. I wouldn't go outside in my undies. Even though my undies mostly cover MORE than my bikini!

As long as it's no more than I'd see at my local swimming pool, I don't have a problem with it.

Pretty much this. The last thing I need is to be in a public place displaying a bunch of nude chicks and dudes.

Apparently I have been missing a lot of good threads because I have yet to come across any pics of people posting something I would consider over the top for this site or even semi-provocative.

Off to do some digging around :D
