    today's light lunch:

    a handful of blackberries & an open-faced pita sandwith on whole wheat w/ tuna, tzatziki, mixed greens & cucumber.

    Looks great - love the idea of blackberries. I just don't buy too many fresh berries b/c of price. But I'm tempted now. :)

    Wow, everything looks delicious! Thank you for posting recipes along with your pictures too! I want to try the Chicken Pea Paties for sure! :) Too bad the pictures weren't in a menu right now and it was time to order! :)

    Here's a new one for you. Now, bear in mind that I wasn't really intending on making the rotini pasta with cheese [it's one of those Betty Crocker "Bowl Appetit's] but I had "Mother Hubbard Syndrome" and didn't have a side dish. But this meal was still under 500 calories all total. It is a broiled pollack fillet that has been marinated in sun dried tomato vinaigrette. It tasted very good!!
