    Good Morning, it's 5:30 AM and I'm off to my highly anticipated Vacation. I finally lost a pound !! 194 this week. I DIDN'T exercise all week, and ate more calories and lost a pound. :love: :laugh: Gotta love how the body works !

    Week 7 7/17/11. 256.4. Between the heat & salt todays weight is a little high for this week
    Week 8 7/24/11. 251.8 this number seems a bit low, I was expecting something around 252.5-253, we will have to see if it sticks
    Week 9 7/31/11. 251.8 it took all week to get back to this number
    Week 10 8/7/11. 250.4 slow but steady. Mostly just slow

    Hi All, No scale here to weigh in, but I've been working out , shopping, hiking or touring something every day this week. today is Beach day. So happy I started this journey. One reason I wanted to lose weight was to go on the Flying Hawaiian zipline tour.( maximum weight is 250 lbs.and you have to carry your 10 lb. trolley and wear your equipment.) Well I can tell ya, if you are ever in Maui...do it. We had the most amazing time zipping over valleys and climbing up those hills. The climbs weren't bad, just steep. The lines were LONG...the first line was 2500 feet and the last line is 3600 feet and lasted over 1 minute. I video taped my last line and it seemed to last forever. It was incredible. I'm still 30 lbs. away from my goal weight, so I have a long way to go. But if you set your mind to it, it will happen. Keep On Moving !!

    That sounds amazing and so much fun! I went there a few years ago...but we didn't know about doing something like that! Glad you're having fun!! You'll get to your goal!! :)

    I JUST realized I made a mistake when counting the weeks! We still have week 12 (this week), 13 AND 14! Week 14 will go until Sunday Sept. 4......which is actually the day BEFORE Labor day (which is on a Monday) I can't believe I messed this up! Sorry for this!


    I just want everyone to know that I WILL in fact, be doing a second challenge after this one.... it will go from 9/5 until New Years day (Jan 1)... 17 weeks. Weigh ins will still be the whichever day you'd like....as long as they are posted by Sunday night, like this challenge. I am going to keep this same thread going, because it might be confusing to start a new one....

    However, there are a few different things that will happen in this one... Firstly, I created the spreadsheet on google docs. I will post the link to the document. By doing this, you will be able to go in, and write in your OWN information. Of course, you can still send it to me and I can do it.....but I thought by doing this, you will be able to see your week by week progress.

    Another thing that I decided is that if you don't send your updated weight for 2 weeks, like you miss 2 weigh ins, you will no longer be able to participate in the challenge. I had a major problem with this challenge and people saying they'd like to join, participate for a bit, and then never send me their updates. At first, I did go through and send Private messages to everyone who didn't send me their weigh-ins, but that takes a lot of time and work!
    I don't like having to make up this "rule" but I'm hoping by having it, it will keep people more motivated.

    Of course, if something comes up and you cannot sign in (like on vacation, in hospital, lost internet connection, broken comp), you will NOT be removed from the challenge. Life happens, and it's totally understandable . Just if something comes up, let us know!

    Anyways, I will be taking everyones information for this new challenge as our current one wraps up, in week 13. Your ending weight for this challenge will be your starting weight for the new challenge.

    Hello MFP labor day friends. I haven't been logging faithfully at all, but have been watching what I'm eating on vacation. I have worked out most days at the beach and jungle gym. It was totally excellent !!:drinker: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: The waves at the beach were huge yesterday and it was all fun and games till we got pummeled a few too many times. I watched the sunrise at the summit of Haleakala mountain 10000 feet up. We had to get up at 3 am to drive up there. It was unbelievably beautiful... so worth the early wake up.

    There was no scale at the house so I couldn't check in. I will weigh in on Tuesday my normal day. Hopefully all the salt water I swallowed at the beach will have passed by then and I didn't gain any weight. LOL:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: I'm looking forward to going back to the gym. Have a great Friday.

    I have now lost a total of 30 lbs since joining MFP! People are noticing and I feel really good, physically and mentally. I hope everyone had a great week!
