hey everybody :flowerforyou:
i'm just joining this challenge this week and i'm really excited cuz September 4th is my Birthday :drinker: !! i'm choosing a goal of 210 pounds by then....fingers crossed!! i'm giving myself a sort of easy goal because i quit smoking and started BC so my body has been a bit unpredictable lately lol oh well, i hope i can do it!!

Good morning, todays weight is 199, I'm okay with that., I haven't worked out since Wednesday trying to rest my knee from a strain. Fortunatly my work involves heavy lifting and I worked in the garden so I wasn't sitting still. Have a great week, congratuations to all who lost this week, welcome to the newbies, and start those jumping jacks !!0

I made my first goal of 15 lbs!!
Yesterday, we spent the day at an amusement park. They have a special seat outside the rides that allows people of larger proportions to find out if they will fit in those tiny seats and get the harnesses locked in safely. AND I FIT!!!! I was so excited. I haven't been able to go on rides in years. While the amount of weight isn't tremendous (although not bad in 5 weeks!) the exercise has caused the inches to really shrink.
Family is still here through the end of the week, so I am sure to have a few more challenging days ahead, but I am really feeling encouraged today. I do have a feeling though that even when family leaves, there will probably be more challenging days ahead!0 -

Great job to everyone this week! Tomorrow is the beginning of week 7! Wow, I can't believe how fast this challenge is going!
I'm not sure what this weeks challenge should be, so if you happen to have any suggestions, just let me know!
Personally, I finally had a loss this week! It was only 1 pound, but compared to the past couple of weeks, I'm so thrilled! I'm down to 186!! Starting the challenge my original goal was 165, starting at 190...but after my horrible week last week, I moved it up to 175 by labor day, so I'm hoping I'll have a better chance of getting to it!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great week 7! Please post or send me your weigh-ins for this week!! Tomorrow begins week 8! woo hoo!! And the challenge is.......push ups!!!! You can do them either way, using your knees or the tougher way, or even up against a wall....and I've also heard some people using their workout ball; basically do them whatever way you can! (I have to use my knees lol)....but I chose this because I believe they are a great upper body work out!
I won't be able to check this forum for a few days because today is FINALLY my last moving day! So today we will be officially in our new place! However, we still don't have internet, but should be getting it around Tuesday or Wednesday....hopefully! So when I do get it, I will be able to record everyone's weigh-ins for this week, so don't worry!!

Given everything that has been going on, along with a lot of family drama that has lead to some not so great food choices (my responsibility I know), I'm not too upset. Interestingly, I found that while my food choices were not good, I did stop myself, but too much so, and my calories were down to less than 900 on several days. Again, not good choices!
Oh well, it's another week. I am more aware of making sure I eat enough (can't believe I said that!) and trying to make sure those calories come from better choices (more fruits and veggies-less cakes and cookies!) Giving up and not taking care of myself will not make the family drama any less stressful-probably it will make it more stressful!0 -

Woot !! :drinker: lost 2 lbs. this week ! I changed my goals settings which upped my calories by almost 200, and I started to log my exercise which makes it look like I didn't go over my calories if I don't eat them all back. ( total mind game I know, but whatever keeps you motivated right. LOL :laugh: So here's hoping to some new momentum on the scale.0
