Good morning gals! A new week! I haven't weighed yet...but I am VERY anxious to! I will check back with that in just a bit as well as my meal plan and goals for today. I just wanted to get this thing going! Can't wait to check back in a bit!!!:bigsmile:

bah hum bug. i gained .04 this week. that's ok.
my goals for this week are:
1) again to stay away from scale, for mood purposes LOL
2) eat up or within 200 cals of my total calories, want to see what happens
3) try to plan the whole day or more days ahead.
well, off to get ready to hit the treadmill, will be taking it slow today. my legs are sore.
be back later to work on logging my meals.

I still haven't weighed, but here is the meal plan for today:
Breakfast:
1 wheat english muffin, 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter, 1 wedge laughing cow light swiss, 1 med. banana, 8 oz. PlumSmart Light juice, 1 multivitamin.
AM Snack:
2 c. coffee, 2 tbsp. sugar free vanilla caramel creamer, 1 soft-baked Kashi TLC blackberry graham bar.
Lunch:
Campbells Select Harvest light soup (SW Veggie), 1 sl. village hearth wheat bread, 14 baby carrots, AE YoLight yogurt, diet coke.
Afternoon Snack:
1 c. green grapes, 100 cal. pack almonds, Kashi TLC Honey Almond Flax granola bar.
Dinner:
I'm thinking Turkey burgers! Yum! But we will see for sure.
PM Snack:
???? Depends on calories remaining...but it's my birthday so SOMEthing! :bigsmile:
Exercise plan--45 minute step class and 15 minute Ab workout!

I was up so late last night working - I'm so tired!! It's 5:30am here and we're out of here in around 1/2 an hour. I won't get much sleep this week, I think.

Ok. Today will be the first day since starting the challenge that I will be listing some of my food.
Breakfast : 1/2 cup Natures Path Pumpkin Granola + Flax, 1/2 c. fat free milk, 1/2 white peach
Snack 94% fat free popcorn, 1/2 apple (will be at kindergarten being class mom today)
This is as far as I have gotten but a step in the right direction.
I cant weigh in until I go to Weight Watchers. Not sure if we are going this evening or tomorrow. My sister in law is in school full time and still trying to work so her schedule is wacky.

I wouldnt worry about the .4 gain chipper, its probably just water retention. I know that I am retaining some major water bc I can feel it in my face, hands and feet and I look a lil puffy too!
I forgot to weigh before I ate and drank stuff- but as of now Im down 2lbs this week. I will weigh again tomorrow and Thursday and if it changes I will adjust it. I know Im retaining fluids bad right now bc of the steroids as well as the combo of meds Im taking that are slowing other body processes down.
So current weight: 208lbs! :bigsmile:

Woo Hoo I'm happy.:happy: I had a 2 pound loss for this week and I really liked that I did not jump on the scale daily like I had started doing. Hope I can keep this up. I also like the idea of a weekly goal of calories burned. I will have to think about that one and set a goal myself.
Kristen, Thanks for reminding me about new threads on tue. I can't believe I forgot again.
Cathy, It will show up next week. Hope things go better for you today. Hope everything goes through for your son.

Well....here are my goals from last week. Let's re-evaluate!
1. Start losing again...I can't believe I gained this week! I want to finish out the challenge strong! So, I would like to see a nice loss next Tuesday!
2. Stay within calories every day this week...I haven't had a complete good week in a while...time to bring it on!
3. Avoid looking at the scale until next week!
I'd say I did well on my goals this week. I think I went over on calories one day only...and not by much (Thursday...when I was sick). And I lost 2 pounds this week. AND...I didn't look at the scale once! For this week, I think my goals will be kind of similar:
1. I'd like to lose another 2 pounds by next week...so weigh in at 162.
2. Avoid the scale again this week.
3. No more than one day of going over in calories...this gave good results this week...so I'd like to do it again!!!
I think I can follow these! I have a couple challenges this week: We are finally going out for Indian food for lunch one day this week. I will just try and make good choices and get in a good workout that day, but I have NO idea on calories for indian food. I will do some searching! Also, this Saturday my husband and I are having a "Half way to 50 Birthday Bash" where we are having chili and chicken/corn chowder, a keg of beer, and the rest is potluck...so NO clue! I will just try and be careful and I know I will get in my spinning that morning. Other than that, not much that I know of yet. But with me and my husband both having our birthdays within a week, there are usually some dinners and what not. But it will be okay! Anyways, I will check back later! Have a good morning ladies!0 -

Bad news...:grumble: My alarm was set for 5:45 instead of 4:45 :grumble: So I didn't get to the gym this morning, which means I didn't weigh in "officially". I use the scale at the gym because its digital and most acurate for me. I know I lost at least a pound using my scale at home...but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow. I'm soooo cranky about it!!! Grrrr!!!
Goals for the week!
1. Burn 3500 calories exercising.
2. Turbo Jam 4 times.
3. Gym 5 times.
4. Lose 3 pounds.
I can't wait for tomorrow to see what my official weight is!!

Ok so my food is planned for the day except dinner...I have about 700 calories left over for dinner, plus I'm going to workout after work. Probably Turbo Jam and maybe even Shred level 1. I found it last night on my Exercise TV onDemand!! Level one AND level two!!! I'm super excited!!! hehehe
The Shield is on tonight, so I told my hubby I might go to the gym at like 9pm so that I'm wide awake for the show to start at 10. So as you can see I"m not 100% sure what my workout life is like today...but there will be at least one workout...probably two.

Cass, I joined the group in aug. and so my total loss is 8 pounds during this challenge. My goal for the next 3 weeks is to lose another 5 pounds for a total of 13 pounds for the challenge.

I have a wedding to go to on Sat., so that will be a challenge for me. Also, need to find a dress and I really don't want to spend the $$ on one (the whole idea of dress shopping is stressful:ohwell: ). My goal for this week will be to burn at least 3000 exercise calories. So far... Mon. 240 cal., today 420 cal. total 660 I will go from Mon. thru Sun on these calories. At least the weather is nice around here, which makes getting in the exercise much nicer. Another thing I'd like to do: Eat slower & enjoy my food more. I never stop to do this, seems I'm always in a hurry & rush through my meals.

Ummm ladies! I just noticed...I've hit my 10 pounds lost mark!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! This is since starting back on MFP July 8th, not for this challenge. But I am excited! My reward for hitting this mark was a new pair of running shoes! I honestly can't afford them at this moment, but as soon as we get some bills paid and I have a little extra...I'm shopping for shoes!!!!! YAY! Just had to share!0 -
boy leave to go drive by some houses for son to look at this weekend and there is all this LOSING going on. the one weekend i didn't do my best and i gain. :frown:

Ok I uploaded a picture of the color of hair I am goig to get and the iPod I want. That is NOT ME...But I have the same hair cut...my hair is just a darker blonde.
Oh, and I do wear my make up like that more than sometimes.0
