I don't see a huge difference, but self perception can be screwy ::shrugs::
  • I started at 5'3" and I'm at 5'4" now after losing 90. I think the stress of all the weight on our spines actually does shrink us!

You look amazing! Total change! And I completely understand where you're coming from. I've been at my place of business for 4 years and have always been big there. There's this woman about my height who's always been super thin, wearing cute clothes. She just had a baby and came back from maternity leave a LITTLE thicker. She asked how much I weighed now because she hadn't seen me in so long. I told her...her words back to me, "awesome! You weigh less than I do!" MADE MY FRICKIN' DAY but in my mind, I am still fatter than she is. lol I can't get past what I was to appreciate what I've accomplished so far and how "thin" I really am.

I'm 5'2" and just finished 30 day shred. I've been at it nearly a year and i'm very close to my goal. You are welcome to look through my pictures! I did my body fat % and i'm going to go for lower end of that, which is high to middle BMI for my height. So obviously I might not stay that 128lbs, because it's a little low for me! I'd just like to touch it before maintence!

Well, i did 30DS, loads of oother "home" dovds, as i dont have the time and money for the gym, ate 1200 cal deficit, walked to work and back everyday, which is 5 miles a day in total, come rain or shine. the last 2 weeks i gave up bread, pasta, potatoes and rice too, a was extremely motivated and determined. I stragely have really enjoyed the whole process, even giving up my favourite foods and cutting back a lot on alcohol! good luck x

This is *amazing*! This is really inspirational. I'm glad I dragged myself to do my 30DS tonight... I nearly wasn't going to do it... then I see what you've been doing and I understand why my abs are NOT going to look like yours. ;) AMAZING!

Im glad you made it here too, but why arent your abs going to look like mine?
Ha... I am not strong enough, tough enough, good enough at time management, or motivated enough to do the incredible exercise you've done. And the alcohol... yeah... but the time management and motivation (plus the sheer fact of doing 80 hour weeks of work/school from Sept. through June) mean I'll have a tough time managing the 30DS!
These are all things you will learn to manage along the way, as they say "rome wasnt built in a day" it may take you longer, but i promise you, you will get there. You dont have to do it every day, besides how hard is it to drop and do twenty sits ups, whilst you wait for your bath to run, or whenyou get out of bed. You dont have to do this quickly, just be commited, thats the key. Good luck you CAN do it xx

I'm 5'3 1/2" and started out at 125 pounds. I was down to 100-102 pounds at one point but gained muscle and went up to 108-110 which is where I am now.

  • Well, here I am. I was at a top weight of 169 when I started Weight Watchers for the first time. I gained some back and am losing it with WW and MFP. WW for the Good Health Guidelines and the irl support and discipline of the meetings/weigh-ins. I need that. And the points, of course. MFP for the awesome droid app and to help me keep track of my sodium (need to limit per the Dr.) and my calories (so I am making sure I don't go crazy on the fruit). Lost another 1.2 this week.

Here I am in 2004, probably in the 150s and Summer 2010 at 118. I'm 125.2 at weigh-in this morning, so I'm not far off. My goal is 115. Not the greatest pics. I have to find the one of me at my brother's wedding for a good before and take a better after once I make goal..
