  • I tripled it, used regular sugar and the whole egg. My kids have more or less ate all of them. I haven't even tried it yet but they love it.

I made these pancakes this morning, and they were so easy and delicious! Here's the recipe:

Mash about 2/3 of a medium banana in a small bowl. Add about a teaspoon of splenda and a few sprinkles of cinnimon (as much or as little as you like). Add 1/4 of a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add 1/3 of a cup of egg whites (I use All Whites from the carton). Mix all of the ingredients together, and cook up the pancakes in a hot skillet as you would cook regular pancakes.

I only photographed two of them, but I made 6 smallish pancakes and ate them all myself! The whole thing is only 111 calories, so that's 18.5 calories per pancake!!! The whole batch is 111 calories, 20 carbs, NO FAT, and 9 grams of protein!!

Looks yummy.....will have to see if we have egg whites in the carton here in Australia....

One question.....what size is a medium banana?.......
  • they look amazing ! but one question , are they filling ?

I'm not big on trying things, but I decided to try these. I LOVE THEM! I changed the recipe a little. I used 1 whole banana, 3 egg whites, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract, & about an 1/8 cup of oatmeal (probably didn't even need the oatmeal--I used it because I was worried about the texture). I made them smaller because they ARE tricky to flip. I didn't even add sweetener or sugar and they turned out great!! I got about 8 smaller pancakes out of my recipe. Only 183 calories and I'm full! =)
  • bump! Thanks!
