Hello peeps!
So after a week of fighting a sunburn and not being able to work out much... I still managed to compensate a bit with my food choices, and the results (at least this week) are favourable!
Here is my weigh in for this challenge:
Starting off on July 1st: 252 lbs
7/08: 250 lbs!
7/15: 248.5 lbs
7/22:
7/29:
7/31:
I've got 1.5 lbs to lose to meet this challenge, and I'll be at my normal workouts as soon as tomorrow (depending on healing, of course). Good luck to everyone, and I hope you all have a great weekend!0 -

I started out July at 200lbs, I'm down to 194 today! It's not official until I weigh myself on Sunday though.

@ Kelly & Bru - Nice job completing 30DS!!! I love that DVD! What's next? I'll recommend Ripped in 30...it's a good 'next step' from 30DS and is only 31 minutes. 'Burn the Fat, Blast the Metabolism' is just as good...but 50 minutes for each work out.0 -

Still stuck at 181.
It has been a crazy week and my food choices have been really bad so I guess I should be glad that I did not gain. I will keep working at it. I also missed 4 days of working out because of my sore neck. Its still sore but I got in a few miles of walking this week.

Woohoo! Back down to my start weight and 2 pounds down from last week! Only -0.2 down for the challenge but that holiday reallllyyy messed me up. I have had 4 days in a row without one binge and without missing a workout! I am happy with myself. One day at a time!! Im still aiming for 5 pounds gone by the end of the month!

Another 1.8 pounds lost! I'm sure things will level out again and I will quit losing as quickly once I recover from being so sick! Apparently the BRAT diet during sickness makes you lose weight like crazy! I'm sick of these saltine crackers now though! Bleh!0 -

Finally lost a pound!!! Only took three weeks!! I just up'ed my calories, maybe adding 30 day shred to my workout routine, warrented a calorie boost, we'll see.
Going swim suit shopping tonite, I would love a two piece with the bottom that looks like a little skirt, but I'm not sure if I'm (or anyone who my see me) is ready for that. Taking the hubby with me, he's my biggest fan and my worst critic.

Congrats on the losses.
Ok last night I gave up on this challenge because I haven't budged for more than a month and was even up a pound from my low. This after more than a month of lower calories and more intense work outs (yes I eat at least some if not most of my exercise calories and my calorie goal was only set at 1.5 pounds a month at the lowest). I reset my calorie goals higher and even went over that a bit even though I walked 5K with intervals of C25K running in yesterday so I had enough calories to stay under. I finally gave up and reset my weight at 234 because that has been the lowest I achieved recently. So of course today I am finally back down again to where I reached in May. So I am going to try to figure out if I am or am not stuck in a plateau until then here is my progress:
SW 7/01 - 235
CW 7/08 - 234.6
7/15 - 233.4 (my previous low for May)
7/22 - GW - 231
7/29 - GW - 230
If I am stuck I will try to maintain at 233 if not I may make this challenge yet!?0 -

I am super excited about next weeks weigh in because I will measure and see what the months progress has been as far as inches lost. I feel like I am fully back in the game now, and I have been eating better and working out as much as I can with my crazy schedule.

Well at least I'm not at the 195++I was last week. I don't know what is going on with me. If the scale doesn't drop tomorrow, then I'm posting my gain officially & will just start again from that. Funny thing is a coworker asked me this morning how much more I've lost because I look it apparently - she was shocked when I told her I gained 5! :laugh:0 -

Hello again everyone! Congrats to everyone who successfully reached their goal. And good wishes to those who didn't.
I lost another 2 pounds since my last weigh in, I am now 182 pounds.

Welcome! It's never too late to join!! We post our starting weight ech month and then whenever we weigh in (any day) and then our ending monthly weight. We don't keep a list of everyone, just keep track of your own info
We often share stories of all types and are very relaxed!
As for finding this thread again, go to the message boards tab and you'll see 'my topics' and it will be there.

I am seeing A LOT of good weigh-ins today! WOOHOO!!! Congratulations, y'all! I do not weigh in until tomorrow morning, and I hope I bring some of this goodness with me!
Since I only weigh in once a week (at my meetings,) I don't ever have a clue what my weigh in will be like. I went overboard on some cake last night and had 2 servings instead of 1. I was studying for a test for HOURS and was really throwing myself a pity party. I did what I normally do--- ate to make myself feel better! :sad: The good thing is that not only did it not make me feel better, but it actually gave me a stomach ache. Lesson learned.... well, hopefully! Even though it isn't a huge deal, it is my first slip-up in 3 weeks so I am not too confident about facing the scale in the morning!
On the bright side, I only have to lose .4 lbs to reach my 5%! I really hope I made that goal this week. My mom has promised me a mani/pedi if I do!
Jenn--- You should be really excited about your next weigh in, and not only because of measurements. 150's!!!! I think I will break into them with tomorrow's weigh in but we'll see. I am REALLY looking forward to when we're both in the 150's and can start screaming about the 140's!
Terri--- Sorry your neck is still hurting, and feel better soon!
