i think once i get out of the 150's im dropping the scale for a month; its depressing, lol! i step on daily and it is just a miserable thing!! Definitely going to take a scale break soon! Might drop out of challenges (after this one) ,even though i lovvvvvvve them, due to not wanting to weigh in!0

Oh dear Latoya... I wish I knew what to say but I dont, except that everything we want to do or need to do, takes as much dedication as the rest. Weighing in once a week has been cool for me and sometimes I take a peek during the week but when I do, whatever I see, I choose to ignore, including losses. That way, on a Monday morning, I take it as I see it and it doesn't affect me too much during the week except that I know I need to work a bit harder.. I dont know if that makes much sense but its been working for me.. I dont ever want to become a slave to my scale.. I dont need anymore sad stuff in my life! Chin up chica.. and know that it all depends on you!
PS... I weighed in this morning and got nothing!! NO loss! :ohwell: I know I've been slacking off on my workouts recently, so I guess I shouldn't be upset cause as the old adage goes "What you put in, is what you get out!"... at least for me anyway.. Gotta step it back up this week and ensure I get a workout in everyday!0 -
i hope everyone is doing well! i had an ok weekend. I ate too much last night when munching in front of the TV, but i am not going to get mad. I am down for the week and feeling good about it:) sounds like many of you are MIA or struggling. I hope that you all are able to focus on what is important and forget the rest! you are all amazing women and have helped me greatly through this portion of my journey. i am thankful for all of you being there for me and want to be there for you! i am going to work out today and focus on my food and attitude again after the binge last night! have a great day on purpose everyone!!0

Good Morning ladies! Great losses so far! I am down to 168.5 (Yay - 160's). I think that's 2.5 from last week. Very happy with that! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
I really haven't been keeping up with the challenges; I know I did not eat all fruits and veggies (really difficult to do) and didn't do the exercises. My exercise has been limited by my dr so I'm not doing much except walking a little and maybe a few minutes on the elliptical. :sad: I am keeping my focus though and am counting down the days till I can begin my exercise routine again!0 -

Hi Ladies - had a fabulous weekend away and now its time to get back to reality :-( Here are my numbers....
SW - 175.4
7/18 - 172.4

8/1 - 170.4

Total loss to date - 9.4lbs
I did weigh in Friday and from then to today i gained .4 but considering i ate out for 3 days straight i am very happy with that. I hiked/walked a trail totaling 8.25 miles - longest i have ever gone in one shot. I am one lb away from my 2nd mini goal and i am hoping to get that done this week.
Lisa - congrats to you for hitting 15 lbs already - that is amazing!!

Thank you. It is much easier for me because my starting weight was so much higher than most of you and I certainly have a lot more to lose. Every one hang in there, even if we don't all hit the 15 lbs. any loss is a victory. Plus if you are participating in the challenges then you have to feel better and are gaining muscle. I am definitely in a funk lately. My work does not allow me as much opportunity to log on to MFP anymore, so I have been seriously lacking motivation recently. I still get on at least once daily, but it doesn't seem like that's enough to do the trick...
Congratulations to everyone for sticking with this challenge & working so hard on all the mini-challenges. I was able to get all the mini-challenges done this week & my shoulders were even a little bit sore from the push-ups. What's our mini-challenge for this week??

my weigh in was 272.4
Im so very excited today I started my 6 weeks of the biggest lost boot camp. I have set a reward of dinner/lunch with the bestie and a pedi just for getting through the 6 weeks. Im hoping this will really push my weight loss over the next 3 weeks so i can at least hit that 15 pound loss mark by the end of this group.
