Happy Thursday people! Moving is almost done so hopefully I can catch up on the spreadsheet soon, but then again maybe I should just make it public edit and you guys can add yourself.
I'll do that when I get home.

I haven't checked-in for several weeks. I went on maintenance for several weeks during a stressful time at work and have been back at it since October 1.
Last time I checked in with you all I believe I was 215 lbs.
Today I weighed in at 211.6 lbs. (down 3.4 lbs since 9/24)
IT IS GOOD TO BE BACK. The entire time I was on maintenance (doing the very best I can), I was thinking, I WANNA BE SEXY FOR CHRISTMAS!!!
I'm 11 lbs from my Onederland Christmas goal . . . I can still do it, but I gotta buckle in for a serious ride!!!0 -
I havent checked in in awhile - nice to see so many ppl still are. This week I gained 2lbs. Not freakin out about it really(much). Much better than the Down 9, up 6 that was happening to me a couple weeks ago. Those huge variances was just weird.
Its still been an up and down weight loss for me, just on a more realistic scale. But Its mostly down, slowly, so Im keeping at it. My procrastinating personality probably isnt helping it go down as fast as it could. That and my potato chip addiction...i do love those salty little spuds lol.
Good thing i dont have a sweet tooth or I would really be in trouble.
And I have half my office using MFP now. We work out of the office most days this time of year and we are constantly eating out or taking our lunches with us. We love the barcode scanner and seeing who's food has more calories for lunch. Total Addicts to the site. I just cant convince them that letting others view your food is a good motivator -they think it will be a good reason to lie about what your eating. Oh - if they could only see the things I put on my diary, they would know I havent bothered to lie, lol.0 -

I love potato chips too and I have em pretty often actually.
You know, its not a race and as long as the numbers go down on a monthly basis or even a bimonthly basis, that's what counts. Fast loss can have other compllications like more loose skin and muscle loss so its just as good to go slow (of course if you are VERY overweight fast loss is probably a good idea to alleviate some immediate health concerns)0 -

Down Lost 1.9 pounds in Texas, but thats okay. I was working 14 hour days on my feet and gained a ton of muscle, and I didn't count a single calorie, I'm just happy it went down.
I've been recovering from surgery this week, and I haven't been counting calories, and have had no exercise, and not a lot of moving in general. So no official weigh in but I'm hovering in the 172's.
There's a good chance I won't make my goal for Christmas, but I'll be happy as long as I get close. At 172 I have 12 pounds to lose and with my track record of steadily (no matter how much I eat or exercise) losing 1 pound a week, I probably won't be able to lose more then 8 pounds. Starting tomorrow I'm back on the calorie counting horse, however exercise probably won't follow until late November....
I hope everybody is still losing! The goal isn't the most important thing, it's knowing that you tried your hardest to get there.0 -
Checking in at 209 flat today (down 1.4 from last time I checked in at 210.4! Finally broke through my stall.
I hear ya Craft. I was 217.4 on 9/1, down to 215, back up to 217.4 by 10/1; then finally down to 210.4 at some point; back up to 212.6; going up and down for two weeks. ARGH!!! Got my new HRM. Now I know how many calories I burn. Turns out I was WAY overestimating exercise calories. 6 days with new toy AND drinking my water . . . BOOM --> back in the winning game of LOSING!!!! Weighing in today at 209 flat. Yes, I am gonna be sexy for Christmas!
I also joined a challenge (that is competitive) and it is helping me a lot.
How do you all plan to attack Thanksgiving? I've been thinking and thinking about it. Since we are going to someone else's house. I think I can do it = stay within my calorie goal. At least we won't have left overs around here. It is a potluck. I'm gonna bring a low fat, low sodium soup. I'm gonna skip dessert and workout before I go. What's your plan?0 -

Checking in at 207.6 lbs today. There remains hope that I'll be sexy for Christmas, but it is a tight schedule at this point. I joined a rather serious (competitive group challenge) this month, so that is helping.
As much as I hate it, drinking more water does seem to help with the loss as well as with staying within calories.

Weighing in at 205.6 today = down 2 lbs from last week.
Had an outstanding week exercise wise.
I've been getting technical and it is working for me! By technical I mean weighing and measuring my food. Getting my water in. And I bought a HRM and have learned that I'm not burning anywhere near MFP estimates. Now I know why I stalled. I was eating back exercise calories that I hadn't earned. I'm back in the losing game again. Feels great to have lost consistently this month so far. Hoping to keep next week and be under 200 for Christmas!0
