Hiked like crazy. those were some crazy trails/stairs. According to the park ranger, There are 645 wooden stairs and another 300 carved out of the granite. Mileage was low but some crazy steep grades. It got hot but we saved the Hickery waterfall trail for last and jumped under the water there to cool off. Was a great day with the fam and we burned some serious calories (burned 2609)

ok.. cals burnt today 1639 doing 270 mins of gardening. Boy I'm spent, today was a killer. But much needed. FINALLY the garden done. I have been tyring to get to it ALL summer. But its done... DONE!0

Yesterday was bad, but today will be better. It is going to be all about the exercise. Taking the little people for a long walk this morning and then as soon as hubby gets home I'm handing the kids off and doing Day 3 of C25K. Hopefully I'll be able to keep calories in check as well.0

Ok team Abnehman here are my results for the week. I've lost 1.3 pounds and my BF% has gone from 42.1 to 41.5 and I'm super happy with that0

Burned 2168 according to mfp but im sure their lawn mowing numbers don't factor in living on the side of a hill pushing a self propelled lawn motor without using the self propeller (darn things are heavy).
I was outside doing gardening like stuff for 5 hours yesterday but only counted it as 2 1/2 hours. I never count the whole time. Maybe its the accountant thing of being programmed to be conservative but I was wondering if anyone else does this?0 -

Ok, since we started this challange, weighted myself last tues. morning and weighed myself this morning have lost 3 pounds. Did 1124 calorie burn this weekend. Still have to do the body fat %.0

Everybody is working super hard. I don't have a heart rate monitor and IMHO MFP calorie burn estimates are high so I don't use them. I have to do turbojam yesterday since my husband had to spend the day at school studying for finals. 45 minutes, can we call it 300 calories for Sunday?
I did my BF% and it is now 40.0, down .3% Not much, but I'll take it. I wasn't expecting any difference, so I guess that's good.
I'm also cool with doing BF% monthly so we can see a bigger loss, or even just taking it again at the end in December.0 -
