    Good morning ladies!

I kinda fell off the wagon on Friday night and gave in to temptation, but got back on track on Saturday.

I worked my butt off all week doing my workouts and did my best to drink my water.

I did up my calorie goal a bit. I found out my BMR was a bit low on this site,so I looked it up on this one:

Awesome job mama! Thanks for sharing the info too!

I've lost another pound! Down to 139 lbs! Yay me!

Good luck ladies, don't get discouraged...I know you can do it!:flowerforyou:

Congrats everyone on their losses. We are doing great. And seriously Morefitmom.... dont worry about your 1lb gain im sure we ca all appreciate how when we get to this point how hard it is to get to goal. I for one am at a comfy sort of weight. Im not totally grossed out when i catch my reflection so I give in slightly easier when i want something. Not saying this is the case for you BUT it does explain for me why my weight does tend to fluctuate more at this point than any other.

You will have a good week next week and if you dont no worries. We are all behind you. Its a marathon not a sprint,. We've got till the new year xx

Just wanted to say we've actually lost over a stone since starting this challenge (possibly even more when Colleen weighs in!! 14.75lbs!!

    Thats awesome!!

I thought maybe we could do a Mini challenge this week!
I've just done it whilst watching last night eastenders. Took 12 Minutes!! We've all got 12 minutes right? Might even be able to beat my time

I am with you! Have to work at my PT job this evening so I won't have much time to work out so this will fit in perfectly.

GM, ladies. I did go for a jog/walk yesterday after giving myself a major tongue lashing! ;-) I am getting there and I thank you guys for the support. I will just be waling the 11 flights of stairs on my job today and I will do the challenge posed by BeccyBerry.

    Have a fab day!

I have worked out I will have finished 30 Day Shred by Monday 22nd August so I was wondering what to do next? Any ideas?

I am thinking I might try C25K. I first found it on the nhs website http://www.nhs.uk/LiveWell/c25k/Pages/couch-to-5k.aspx but it seems its all over the place!

Aaaack! I just typed an opus of a reply and it disappeared!! :explode:

Anyway, sorry I missed weigh ins, I've been out the loop. I'm at 141.5 now - that's 2 lbs up from where I should be, due to this sprained ankle which meant no cardio, and not doing cardio meant I didn't log my food... that didn't work out well for me. I should have committed extra hard to logging food, instead of just taking a cheat week! Oh well. Doing damage control now. Hitting it hard today, while still being mindful that I don't want to reinjure my ankle -- the last thing I want is to be out of commission again because I didn't listen to my body!

My ankle is feeling a little better. I'm going to attempt to pick up my C25K where i left off, tomorrow AM... crossing my fingers that my ankle can take the strain. Today I'm doing the 100 Pushups program, core workout, and Shred It W/Weights (because it's pretty much a zero impact workout) - my goal is to do it twice for extra calorie burn.

I'm hoping to have some noticeable losses in 8 days - we're leaving for our family vacation and to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary then, and I'd like to feel really good about where I'm at physically. Also, I think it's a good idea to reinvigorate my commitment to being active and making joyful, healthy food choices before taking an extremely long car trip with five kids visiting family, etc etc -- lots of pitfalls to avoid there!

Sara - after the Shred, I started the 30 Day Slimdown, and that was a really great follow-up IMO. Basically you rotate three JM workouts (30 DS, No More Trouble Zones, and Boost Metabolism - although I subbed Shred it W Weights for NMTZ, because that's the one I have access to.) I'm also loving C25K -- I'm hooked. Definitely worth a try!

WHO WANTS TO BE A HOT MOM? - GROUP RESULTS, 8/8 Weigh-In

    aJusp.png

It's been an interesting week, ladies! Three groups gained weight this week. I guess we can take comfort in knowing we're not alone, but it's time to re-focus and remember that every day counts!

I'd like to give a special shout-out to Group 5, who only had 3 members weighing in, but they lost a total of 8.2 pounds! WAY TO GO! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: Thanks for showing us how it's done.

Group 4 is also the leader of the pack. ALL members checked in this week, making them the ONLY group whose members have checked in every week since the challenge started. They also have the biggest numbers in total weight loss and % to GW. WAY TO GO!!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I've decided to stop tracking Group 6, since no members have checked in since July. There also are a handful of other members who haven't checked in since week 1. If the group captains decide to stop tracking them, let me know, as those numbers are effecting your "% to GW" group numbers.

    Let's go, Hot Moms!!

Our stats are looking pretty good... and next week we'll have 100% of us reporting for weigh in! Great work, ladies!!!

This morning I did C25K - dropped back to Week 2 for my ankle, so less of a cal burn, but that worked out well since apparently in the week and a half since I haven't been working out, I lost a LOT of what I'd worked up to. Could be the head cold, too, but I felt like it was harder than I expected it to be to get around the track. The good news is, my ankle held up well - I'm icing it now mostly as a precaution, but it's no worse than it was before I worked out. I just finished the P90X Legs and Back workout, so I'm feeling pretty good about my exercise today.

Keep up the great work, hot mamas!

t's the end of a bad day. My dire need for caffiene to get me kick started into working meant I drank a litre of full sugar coke (that's 106g of sugar!). But that was not my only vice and it'll take two hours of hard core cycling to burn that off. Going to try and do a little extra zumba tomorrow morning but I cannot afford to much time as my thesis is hitting critical at the moment. Will probably need caffiene again. Time to go buy some coke zero! Really don't want to completely fall off the wagon in the next 2 weeks as I have a nice dress to fit into for a family do on 20th Aug as well as my first thesis deadline on 22nd Aug.

Maybe I should get my trampoline out and go for an indoor run!

Hi everyone, sorry I have not been keeping up very well, still trying to learn to live with my Husbands new night/afternoon shifts and work out my kids schedules and my exercise time and everything else that goes along with a house with 5 kids!! It is really hard to get into a normal routine and I just hate that!!

Anyway I have been trying to fit in more exercise and have been doing ok, it obviously has been good for my weight loss and this morning I weighed in at 139.8, yipee!! Have a busy weekend planned, not sure how I'm going to go food wise and it has not started all that well with us having pizza for dinner tonight. TTOM started and I just don't feel well but am very hungry, thus pizza seemed like a good idea when it was suggested. I really did'nt enjoy it and kind of regret it now though. Oh well, hopefully I can at least maintain over the weekend and if not, there is always next week.

Ok better go get the kids to bed and then take a nice long walk on the treadmill to try and make up for the pizza!!

Have a great weekend everyone :)

Today's weigh in: haven't been looking forward to this and today I weigh 139.25lbs. Only to be expected given the week I've just had. Also really frustrated as seem to have a problem with my right shoulder so having to give 30DS a miss for a couple of days. Does not look good for this week :-(

Feeling a bit more positive now. I managed to do 30DS level 1 with a few modifications and my shoulder pain seems to have eased so I am hoping I can carry on. Think I will stick to level 1 for a couple more days before I go back to level 2 and on to level 3.

Still stress eating (damn thesis!) so I really need to be burning as many calories as possible!

Good morning hot mamas!!! Thank you ladies for the weigh ins already. Seems like everyone is doing great! Just remember "slow & steady wins the race"
The closer to our goal we get the harder and slower the weight is going to come off.
We can & will do this mamas!

I weighed in this morning at 133. That's no loss, no gain so I'll take it!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I'll check back in later today!

Well Im 1 # down this week. I weighed in at 138.8. :) I didnt lose any inches at all though so Im a little dissapointed about that. So 12 weeks has past and I lost a total of 11.2 pounds! I think thats pretty good! lol My 30DS should be arriving pretty soon and I cant wait to start!
Sara dont get discouraged about your shoulder, hope it feels better soon!

I think our group is doing great!! Keep up the hard work mamas!! Before you know it, we are going to be looking HOTT on New Years Eve!!!

I just weighed in at 138 even!!! I'm wondering if it was just a fluke... then again, a month ago I couldn't have even had a fluke weight that low, so I guess I'll take it.

Sara, take care of your shoulder -- don't do anything that might cause more injury... better to take it slow and go for the long haul! You've got this, mama! Almost everything JM does is very hard on shoulders and knees, so be careful and modify as you need. Hope it's all better soon!

Hi everyone, great job on the losses

As for me, well after getting down to 139.8 during the week I had a terrible weekend foodwise and am back up again. So no loss for me this week :grumble: Oh well hopefully I will get back under 140 soon!!

I have just finished a 12 week program I have been doing and although I did'nt do as well as I had hoped I have lost over 18 pounds in the 12 weeks and my body shape has really started to change this time around. I just need to keep it up now that the challenge is over.

Keep up all your great work mama's - you are doing awesome!!
