Morning Ladies!
Car show/swap meet today! That means I'll get some walking in! I did pretty well at the reunion considering the options...supper was a little rough though. Hubby does all the cooking and lately the portions have been getting bigger...I need to learn to save some for another day!

Have fun!! I have a hard time putting away food when it is in front of me, so I understand that struggle! I have also found that I have lost a lot of my taste for veggies.0 -
I have always wanted a Cherry tattoo on my hip or left ankle but I am terrified of the pain. Plus my hubby does not like them. Hmm who knows maybe when I reach my goal weight of 165 I will just say hay what the heck!!0

I have 3 tats...1 Celtic Mother's Love tat on each ankle as they screwed up the one and I still wanted it so I got another one...big jerk screwed me over, but, oh well...what's done is done. The blue one is the "screw-up" and the other is the "keeper"! I also have a really cute doodle flower on my right shoulder. I want more. When I hit 100 lbs lost (I was 267 years ago I want the Weight Watchers stars on my left shoulder. I lost lots on WW but regained it. The stars are just cute...:) it's the top ones on the pic with no words. I like the Betta fish too!

How did everyone's weekend go? Did you do well??
I did great...which is great since weekends have always, always been a struggle for me!! I have made it a point to log my food as soon as I eat and to really be conscious of how many cals i have left. I know that I need to make some healthier choices, tho. I have had quite a few sodas the past few days. I have stayed under my cals, but I can definitely do better picking what I eat!! It will help when I can go grocery shopping again, too...hubby doesn't get paid until Friday so I am trying to wait til payday!0 -

Yay for making it through the weekend!! I also survived. Even with the birthday party on Saturday! I had sausage balls (my favorite party food!) but I limited myself.
Question...I stick to 1200 calories a day. I eat some of my exercise calories back but not all. Does anyone else limit themselves to around 1200?0 -

It depends on where you get it. The one on my upper back/lower neck hurt a little bit more than I expected...the one on the side of my leg didn't hurt at all!! Definitely start small. The outline, imo, hurts worse than shading (if you get any). I hear the top of the foot is pretty bad, but I really wanna get one there!! And...I wouldn't do it in the summer time if you are a pool side girl. Not supposed to get it really soaking wet until the scab falls off (ew, I know).
I give myself 1600 cals a day. I am 5' 5.5". That is just what I do with my First Place program ~ and it is supposed to help me lose 1.5 pounds a week according to MFP. I don't wanna eat my excercise cals but I did tonight...and then some. Dern it. Proud of you for doing so well!!! Keep up the good work!0 -

I've actually done the best I've done in YEARS over the course of this weekend. I didn't cheat, I stayed in my limits and I got my exercise in!

I like all of your tattoos...pretty! I've always thought about getting one, but I never could decide on something I'd want forever so I still don't have one.
Amber, my calories were initially set at 1400, but I was losing weight slooooooowly and some weeks not at all. I'd heard people say to up your calories when that happens and see if that helps, so last week I bumped them up to 1580 and I lost 4 pounds! Not sure if that was all because of more calories though...I hadn't been doing so well with drinking all of my water, so I made sure to get lots of that last week too. So my loss is probably a combination of both upping the calories and drinking more water. I usually eat some of my exercise calories back too, but not all of them.

Pam, they aren't for everyone My husband doesn't have any at all. We tend to be different as night and day ~ I love tatts and piercings...he likes them on me but doesn't want one for himself. LOL. I dunno.

Thanks to those who have posted their weigh ins! I weigh in on Fridays so I will post my then. Hopefully I will be a loss instead of a gain. My weight loss is almost like a yoyo these days! But I am trying to restrict my carbs now. Lets see if that works!0

Hey ladies
I will still post my weigh-in on Wednesday, but am almost sure it will not be a loss...not because of food or the lack of exercise though. I injured my knee pretty bad and it's so swollen I can hardly bend it....can't walk too well....so I know I'm retaining a lot of fluid right now. Super super discouraged that I can't exercise!

As for tats..yup not getting one..I am a chicken. LOL! I can give birth to 3 children naturally but I can't endure a tattoo. Go figure!0 -
i am the same way. I can give birth without medication, but try to get a needle anywhere near me and I feel like I'm going to faint!0

I think that the worst thing about child birth is the iv myself. My nose is pierced and it didn't hurt at all. Having my ears hurt way worse...they burned like fire!!
Weighed in this morning...was down to 228! Yay!! 2 pounds. I had weighed on Saturday and weighed the same. and thought it was 3 for some reason, but it is really two. I guess it isn't too bad since I can't get really into working out right now. Can't wait to get back to it full force, just have to wait for the word from my surgeon and physical therapist.

Jess, once my knee is doing a little better, you and I will meet up at the gym in the mornings. There are several elliptical type machines that you don't have to move your arms at all! We can even go wogging lol0

Absolutely. I love those ellipticals. You are talking about the ones on the top behind the treadmills? I can't wait. Andrew is on vacation next week, so I don't know if I can make it in...but the following week, the kids will be in school and I will be good to go
I had my 8 week post op appt. this morning. He said I still had a ways to go. At least 6-12 weeks more of PT. He fixed it reallllly tight. I am having a rough time with it.0 -

I have been doing measurements once a month on first Saturday. I did it more often when I first started but cut down to once a month a few months back since wasn't seeing much of a difference weekly.0
