Water challenge sounds good! My only problem I normally drink 84 oz to 169 oz a day depending on my activity level. I may end up not do this challenge for the time being.0

I am going to push for this water thing today. It shouldn't be too hard. It's only 7 bottles...I can do that.
I had such a fail day yesterday that I need to make up for it. I went over my calorie limit by 226, the calories I did consume consisted in part of fried chicken, a chocolate chip cookie, and wine. Oh, and I didn't get my exercise in.
What does make me laugh a little bit is that it's only been two weeks eating good and wholesome foods. I cut out the majority of the junk. But it seems my body doesn't like it anymore. My stomach is rebelling from that fried chicken. It didn't take long for my body to change at all.0 -

How is everyone doing on the water challenge so far? I need to step it up; I've only done 5 cups as of right now!
Digitalsinner, I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. I've had days when I go WAY over my calories and somehow the next day the scale actually tells me that I've lost weight. Go figure. I know what you mean about eating junky stuff....I had been craving Outback cheese fries for weeks, so one Saturday I ordered a small sized order of them without bacon and shared them with my bf. They tasted great, but afterwards I was literally nauseous for awhile. Crazy! I won't be eating them again anytime soon.
I wanted to eat all of my calories today because yesterday my net calories were super low (and when I go too low there's always a negative fallout on the scale). Boy, did I ever put myself on the right (?) path with lunch! I went to a restaurant and had breakfast for lunch -- a greek omelette with feta and tomatoes, home fries, and (this I REALLY didn't need) 2 slices of pre-buttered toast. YIKES! I now have a little over 300 calories and about the same amount of sodium left for the day. Good thing I'm drinking the water today! Also a good thing that I plan on running when I get home, or I wouldn't have hardly anything left for dinner! Sigh...it's one of those days...0 -

Try having a cup of OJ at the end of the day it helps with bloating or after you ate a really heavy meal. I always make sure I have Tropicana 50 OJ some pulp in the fridge for those days.

It doesn't take long for your body to realize what is good for you! I went over by 800 (!!!) the other day...and I had an ice cream cone today. Sugar is my weakness. I drove about a hour to see my 11 year old daughter at camp ~ she acted like she didn't want me there and totally hurt my feelings. I binged coming home I didn't get a milk shake, tho, which is good!! I had 225 cals compared to almost 800, so that is good, right??
I haven't done too well on my water today. I WILL make it, but so far I have only had about 32 oz. I need 114. LOL. I guess I may be up peeing all night!

When I was doing my last detox I had to drink almost 5 litres a day. As long as you don't drink the water very quickly, you shouldn't have any tampering with your glucose levels. I actually got to 19 cups of water yesterday.

No water yet, but I am trying to at least drink 24 oz. with each meal and then in between I am always drinking. We leave to go out of town on Sunday for a few days ~ soooo nervous about eating, but I know I will get my walking in We are going to Gatlinburg where walking is just part of life!! Hoping to swing by one of GA's state parks on the way home, too, to get some more sight seeing and walking in0 -
Pammy, I weighed in already...my weigh-in days are Saturdays. Here's are my weights so far:
Starting weight: 225.8
Weigh-in on 7/23: 221.8
My next weigh-in day should be tomorrow, but I may have to weigh in Monday...we might be going somewhere this weekend where I won't have a scale, but I'll let you know.
That water calculator tells me I should drink about 14.5 cups a day...wow!! I drank 13 yesterday and was feeling pretty good about myself. I guess I'll have to work harder!0 -
Got on the scale this morning and there's no real change. I'm still at 268, but I'm down from last week's 271. Did TurboFire this morning for 30 minutes and walked for an hour with the dog. Feeling pretty good, but I'm wondering when I'm going to get over the hump. :-/0

Pammy ~ I haven't done so well on that myself, tho. I had sweet tea at lunch (just used to ordering it). After I drank it, I asked for unsweet. LOL. Taking sweet tea from a southern girl ain't a easy feat, y'all!! I just wasn't thinking.
I had Chinese for dinner and even split a entree with my husband thinking I was doing well. NOT!! Guess I need to rethink my Chinese foods!!0 -

I sucked, big time, on my water today! Only got about 60 oz in today I was busy a lot of the day and then went out with girls I used to work with, so I didn't really get to focus on it today like I did yesterday. I have another child's birthday party tomorrow (had one last weekend too). Hoping I can control myself on the calories! I'm going to take my water bottle with me and try to get at least the 117 oz I'm supposed to be getting. Wish me luck at the party, girls0 -
Sorry I have been MIA. I had a pretty rough week. I was having severe back issues, thy aren't new but they were making it so I could barely walk. MRI showed multiple bulging discs and two torn ones, so yesterday I ate my feelings. And I am on a new birth control and it is really messing with my hormones! I am up for the water challenge! I usually challenge myself to this everyday and forget about it half way through!
So needless to say, the last couple of days I have been eating my feelings, but before that I wasn't eating back my exercise calories and usually wasn't meeting my calorie limit. I am down to 233.8! I was expecting a serious gain this week! Ugh, Doc says nothing more strenuous than slow walking until we get my back figured out And even walking isn't supposed to be for more than 15 min at a time. UGH!0 -

Just glad I was able to maintain that for 2 weeks straight after bouncing from 219.8 to 222.2 for over a month.0
