Good morning fabulous ones! Yay for all our losers this week! Pam - I'm with you, stayed the same. Frustrating, but putting it in perspective is soooo much better than seeing numbers climb! We're just practicing for maintenance!
So, my plans for my healthy habit didn't go so well today. I was feeling sick all night & I think that allergy pill I took messed up my ability to sleep, as I woke up more times than I can count & never felt "sound" asleep. So, for the first time since 2007, I called in sick. I'll switch my "habit" training to tomorrow so - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday for an AM workout.
Yesterday, the only think that made me feel better (at least temporarilly) was working out (weird, huh?). So - I think I'll give Level One of shred a go. I'm really seeing a difference the past few times I've done it. The couple of transitions that have been challenging for me (jumping jacks to jumping rope, the lunges w/bicep curl & the side lunge raising weight to eye level - I've gotten MUCH better at). I may just move on to Level 2 at some point! My kids will be thrilled as they are always asking when I'll do level 2!!

My weight this week was 223.1 which is great. Just nervous that it is too much for one week and scared for next week. But just enjoying it now!0

I hit a sub 10-minute mile today!!!!! 9:51, to be exact! Wooooohoooo! I ended up overrunning my 1.25 miles, but I had to guess about where it would be and I was way off. I know that my next route will be 1.5 miles because that route has mile markers.

This cold thing is kicking my butt! Took the day off, though I did 2 hours of housework that I'm not going to count! LOL! Not feeling well always makes me want to eat. Trying to stay away from the kitchen right now, in fact!

Hi All, well, this is just not my week! 1st I was sick or the worst allergies ever (improving but not 100%).... then last night my ankle started hurting & today I was hobbling around like an old granny!
I think it may be a bit of achilles tendinitis, or I strained the calf a bit (pushing off too hard on Biggest Loser Wii "skaters").
I ignored it & did my 30 minute walk & the 30 day shred. If it's still being annoying tomorrow, I may have to modify my workouts.
I Know it needs "Rest Ice Compression & Elevation" - but hard to find the time. Isn't when I sleep rest enough?
Hoping to be in tip top shape tomorrow!

You might want to try taping it just to give it extra support. My doctor has my using KT Tapes on my calf muscles and they really work quite well, but any athletic tape will help! Hope it feels better today!0 -
Feeling like poop! Went for a run, kept up my 10 min mile pace! Woohoo! Struggled and almost peed my pants, though! lol. That's what I get for taking a decongestant and letting my heart rate get too high! I even tried a nasal spray decongestant to see if it would keep my heart from racing and it didn't. Boo!
We were going to take the kids to the Children's Museum but they were too hacky and I didn't want other parents staring at me like I was bringing the plague upon them so husband took a day off for nothing, pretty much! We ended up going to the park and then going to the mall and walking, walking, walking! Very little shopping!
Our Wii broke a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't something that could be fixed with the cleaning disk (needs a new reader arm, $14 part and I have the electronics repair experience to replace it but it's a real pain) and he went out after we got back and brought home a new Wii! Yeah! Now I can use Wii Fit Plus and Dance Dance Revolution again!
OK now that I've written a book... lol

Amy, glad the rest is helping out! You'll be back on the workout trail in no time! Just remember, a few days off or a few weeks off. Which is worse? =D
Sounding a bit like Darth Vader today. Did some Yoga Meltdown and had a clear nose without meds for the first time all week!

Kind of moved my exercise plan to accommodate for tomorrow since there's going to be a big family party that I can't avoid with foods that I don't want to avoid. lol. So switched running from tonight to tomorrow morning, but still plan to get yoga (and maybe additional) in tomorrow as well to give myself a 600-calorie buffer for the day.
