lost 1.8 lbs this week!! That is what I needed to keep me motivated! I havent lost even 1 lb in 3 months. The Spartans and the challenge is what keeps me going today!0

Hope this is a little motivation.
I was told before slow and steady wins the race.
Even 1 pound a week will eventually be as many as you want if you keep up your dedication.
So what if it takes you 5 months, a year, or what ever. The point is to make this your lifestyle.
I find it amazing how I went from always super sizing things to now saying small is fine or can I have some water instead.
That's my big change so far. Soda.. fagettabout it!0 -

I had lost 3 pounds from last Friday's weigh in to Tuesday, but then gain 2 pounds back from then until weigh in day. Hopefully it was muscle from my first week of weight training. haha
Overall a one pound loss. Glad to see others are also in the 1 pound club this week.0 -
I'm starting crossfit next week and not sure how that will affect my weight loss for this challenge since I am going to do more strength training than ever before. I am aiming to change the shape of my body and make it more muscular while still trying to get lean. I hope to lose the pounds but if I can change the shape and get toned then I'm all for it.0

I had lost 4 lbs yesterday for this week but after eating out two meals yesterday, at weigh in today, I only lost 1. Not going to beat myself up over it though.....I am just going to be prepared for unexpected circumstances that may arise in the future by having quick meals/ snacks ready I can pull and take with me. If any of you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it :happy:
Also, can anyone help me get away from my diet pop and stick with water? I know one pop a day won't "kill" me but I know I don't need it......How do you guys get all your water in and WANT water???0 -

I lost a whole 0.4 lbs since Monday. :grumble: I've gone to the gym 3 days so far this week. Since I have golfer's elbow:mad: I can only really use the treadmill and stationary bikes. At occupational therapy yesterday I got to use 2lb weights though! woohoo! It's okay though! I'm not gonna be all "why did I eat that":noway: . Hope to go to the gym tomorrow and perhaps Sunday night. I spent a good bit of time sweating in my garden this week so I'm hoping I get to the 3500 calories burnt by the end of this week! :drinker:0

My friend HATES water, but she bought a big water jug that holds exactly 8 cups of water. That helps her drink her water everyday. She doesn't like to stare at it still full and enjoys when it disappears! Me on the other hand, I have a 4 cup Rubbermaid with a straw bottle that I drink everyday. I keep it close to me so I know how much more I have to go. I don't mind plain water though. I use to loveeeeeeeeee diet soda too! Use to wake up and have a can of diet mountain dew with breakfast. I feel happier without it. My mood is much better without those chemicals!0 -

I lost the 4 pounds I gained while vacationing in St. Lucia a week ago. Feels good to be rid of them.

Not quite sure of my loss for this week, as I weigh-in too often to remember which day is which, but I have completed the fitness challenge...3631 calories since Monday.0

I definitely didn't make the calorie-burn challenge, due to not having time AT ALL on Tuesday. But I did my best to get 500/day the rest of the week. My appetite has been WEIRD this week so I haven't really eaten enough - which thankfully means I am down 3.1 pounds this week! WOOHOO! But I'm a bit worried about just HOW low it's been, particularly given that a lot of it has been junk. I really want to try to eat more healthfully this week. That's my own personal challenge, I guess. (She says, at 10:30 local time, not having eaten a thing yet.... d'oh.)
You have not been the only one! I was the same way this week with a very low appetite. Today I finally ate more but I ate crap too! Since I hardly ate there was hardly any energy for exercise... Next week will be better.0 -
My appetite has been ok this week but today wow I could eat everything on my house! I was wondering, since the mini challenge was give on Monday I've been under my net cals by about 400-500 each day, so I'm thinking I may actually let myself go over today as I'm obviously needing it, if I do gain anything it should be
Minimal and gone by next week anyway! Having said that the scale showed another 2lb gone this morning so I'm not too worried!
What I am worried about however is my mums wedding on Friday! I'm having to travel 350 miles in the car with my children on Thursday to the spend 4 days with my grandparents who really are feeders bless them! First meal on the menu will be my ALL TIME FAV steak pie make by my grandad! He knows I love it so it's a given it'll be there waiting for me when I arrive! I'll do my best to do some exercise if I can get some time to myself, I guess only time will tell!
Would it be ok to give my weight in detail on Thursday as I can the use my own scales rather than someone else's?
Do we know when the next mini challenge is given?

I guess I am a space cadet bc I didn't realize the mini challenge!! Yikes! I didn't make the 500cal a day either but I've been nursing my back this week, so I haven't been exercising much more than doing things I have to do! I will keep a closer eye on this thread for the next mini challenge! )
I am down 2 lbs this week, but I had found myself plateaued for 4 days...so who knows!!

Not a bad first week for me...I was hoping for 3 lbs, but since I did not come close to meeting the exercise challenge, I sort of expected a lack-luster result.
I lost 1 lb for the week. But hey, it's a start!0 -

OOPS, Yesterday i had a rest day and allowed myself to go over on cals as i had such a huge defisit for the week, We had a burgerking and altho i was ok with the calories (a little high but ok on the whole) I did not realise how bad it was for sodium! Just that meal alone had over 11000mg! I was so shocked! Needless to say i'll be holding some water now lol! Drinking plenty to flush it out but i certainly wont be making that mistake again! I'm off for a loooong run today so hope to burn a few cals! also doing 30ds so should be able to claw things back, i figure i have 4-5days to make it right!0

Kell, I'm beginning to believe that sodium is the devil and fast food is his henchman...lol I had Subway yesterday, thinking I was making a good, healthy choice with apples and a coke zero, and the sandwich alone had over 1000mg of sodium!!!0 -
So far we're at 283.1 lbs lost as a team!! Keep up the good work! I'll post the full roster later this afternoon. :drinker:0
