I wasn't going to exercise at all today, but as a NYer, I walk everywhere so I downloaded the new app TrackMyFitness or something and tracked my walk home from Macy's at 167 calories. And avery wiggly walk.

Was supposed to be yoga, but the dog had other ideas, first he started choking and when I had rescued him from that and removed the danger (cat scatch toy - he's shredded the carpet on it) he decided it was play time. Really hard to do dog facing downwards when a mini schnauzer puts both his paws on your head and starts licking your ears.

    will cycle home after work.

    Wonderful! lol

Today my wife and I took our 4 daughters whitewater tubing
on the Esopus River in Phoenicia, NY. The dam upstream
was open so we had the full class II rapids experience!
My wife and I did this 23 years ago when we were dating
and today we shared it with our kids. It's a friggin trip!

Took a break from running and decided to get some fresh air and sun today by skateboarding and then longboarding down some hills. Then in the evening I took a quick two mile walk with my mother. We usually walk farther but it was already pretty dark and our neighborhood is noticeably lacking in streetlights.

everytime i do yoga at home my dog thinks its playtime! Any floor work invites a stream of kisses and tailwags and shoving toys in my face, I block him out as long as I can but always cave eventually :)

i luvs him, he is my bestest friend

I try to listen to my body as far as rest days are concerned. Today was supposed to be a t-mill run - but I guess I've done a fair bit over the last few days - took the dog for a 2.5 mile walk Sat and then for a 5 miler Sunday. Sunday's had an ascent pf 900ft and then a descent of 1485ft! The mocha afterwards was excellent!

Still, cycled the 5miles to work and will cycle home.

I wish I had a bike, and lived somewhere I would trust the drivers not to hit me riding to work. :)

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. I did Simply Shredded Upper Body A. This is week 5, so it's higher weights and lower reps, 6-8 instead of 8-12. I really like this routine. Tonight is Lower Body A.
