Bry_all01, are you one of the smart people? You haven't answered my question.

Your question makes no sense, whatsoever.

10 lbs of anything is 10 lbs.

"How do I log sex in my exercise log?"

Sorry, but unless you're a porn star, you probably burn more calories putting the groceries away:laugh:

This reminds me fo another EPIC thread some time ago.... someone posted some bad advice, and when her diary was looked at, she's actually logged teaspoons of sperm!!!

OMG! That just really grossed me out lol. TMI!

I've never seen anyone with that problem. If you can show me a real person who can pick up 10lbs in one situation, and not another, I will show you one messed up person. The dumbbell even comes with a handle!

Jorra, are you one of the smart people? You haven't answered my question.

I can't answer your question until you prove that the question is valid. If you honestly can't pick up a 10lb dumbbell, but you can pick up a 10lb ream of paper, you really need to re-evaluate your life.

Scott613, explain to me how a 10lb dumbbell weighs more than a 10lb pack of copying paper.

It is all psychological. The shape of each object is different, but the WEIGHT and HEAVINESS is absolutely, positively, IDENTICAL. Weight is weight is weight. It won't change anywhere on Earth.

    okay.

    take a second please :)
and read what you are saying...

    10 pounds = 10 pounds...
    (lol, im pretty sure anyways)

Sarah307, are you one of the smart people? You haven't answered my question.

not sure what you mean by one of 'the smart people'....
but think about what you are asking...
you are asking people if 10 pounds ... is 10 pounds. ?

if person A weighed 150 pounds... and person B weighed 150 pounds.. who would weigh more?? :)

    The one with bigger b(.Y.)bies.....

I have a question for all the smart people on here and I would love an answer.

    1. How come some people can pick up a 10lb pack of copying paper with no problem, but can't pick up a 10lb dumbbell?

ooh ooh I know this one!

Because they're too lazy to work out

    Agree^
From this Thread I have learned... You just cant fix stupid can you?

It wasn't on here but someone on another message board I look at was advocating that if you gain weight after giving up smoking you should start smoking again!!!!

One of my friends started smoking because a girl told her she'd lose weight if she started! WTH??!??!! Really?? SHM!

Actually, yes. I am a scientist. If you can't understand the concept of weight and density, which you should have learned in middle school physics, you are obviously not ever going to understand this. If you don't understand the complete similarity between the words weight and heavy, which you should have learned in elementary school English, you are especially not going to get this.

I'm going to twist it all up on the fat/muscle saga. I can promise you that my 200 pounds of fat is much HEAVIER than 200 pounds of muscle on my athletic 6'2" son. My knees hurt, my feet hurt, my back hurts and it is because fat is HEAVY!!! Don't tell me that muscle is heavier than fat (ARRRGGGHHH!) My body says different. I can't wait until I am toting some of that muscle around LOL!!

    mind over matter

Bry_all01, are you one of the smart people? You haven't answered my question.

Actually. Yes. Yes, I am. I was being nice and not rude by saying it is mind over matter. For people who can pick up a 10 pound package of copy paper, in all honesty, they CAN pick up the 10 pound dumbell, but CHOOSE not to do so, because they are LAZY. So, if you paid close enough attention, I did answer your question.

Jorra, you are a scientist and you claim that although two things weigh the same, one can't be heavier than the next.

You can't tell me how come some people can pick up a 10lb pack of copying paper and not pick up a 10lb dumbbell.

    Do you even lift weights?
