This might be fun... (then again, maybe not).

Share your first concert memory. Who was the headliner? Where was the venue? What year? Did you have fun.... get wild?

I'll start: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Boston Garden, 1981. Awesome show... I was 16. Drank vodka for the first time in my life.

Summer 1994, Spin Doctors with Gin Blossoms and Cracker @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Wasn't too wild - the group of us that went were all 16 and 17.

Poison, 1987. It pains me a little (a lot!) to type the year.

The year was 1989 (I was 15). Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Rob Base and DJ E Z Rock. So embarrasing! My second concert isn't any less embarrasing...New Kids on the Block in Montreal the same year!

The first concert I went to on my own (I went to several with my mom when I was little) was metallica in 2003 with my husband (he was my fiance at the time). I was 19 and it was in gillette stadium in Foxboro Massachusetts. We rode over with my husbands friend, his sister and her husband and my brother in law and sister in law. We were in an old (1970's) Suburban with attached plates and an attached inspection sticker. We got home around 4am and had to be up at 5 for work. My other brother in law wound up falling asleep behind the wheel on the way to work and got in an accident and nearly died (he had just turned 18 the week before) and was in the hospital for a week and rehab for 2 months. He's fine now though.

The Monkees in 1986 at the Bloomsburg Fair in PA with my best friend and my Mom.

I was 14 and had the biggest crush on Davy Jones, who was 45 at the time. Now I find out that he's married to a woman 6 years younger than me. First I was too young for him, now I'm too old for him!

Bryan White when I was 10 years old. My family was very much into country music and he was soooooo cute! I remember I almost passed out because my uncle lifted me up so that I could touch his boot :) Then that same night, I saw Meatloaf. :) That was an AMAZING experience. That was in 1995 at Summerfest in Milwaukee!

My very first concert was Bobby Sherman at a local theatre in Connecticut. I was with my mom and I was a teenager. After that, my first "big girl" concert was David Bowie.

Haircut 100, about 1981, Hammersmith Odeon. Concerts are never as good as your first one.

But the first concert I remember buying tickets for was Vertical Horizon, 1997, Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, NH! Woot!

Metallica with Corrosion of Conformity as openers, in 95. Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. Security guys lifted me & another girl over the gates so we could get down on the floor, but didn't let our boyfriends by. We ditched the guys & took off for the mosh pit! Great show, love COC.

I'm almost embarrassed to say -- Statler Brothers in 1976 with my mother. I was 10! Anyone remember the song Elvira (giddy up, giddy up, maw maw). What I remember most is that I got all 7 autographs! Then Aerosmith at 16 -- friggen awesome!!

Bare Naked Ladies in the early 90s when I was like 7 or 8. I didn't understand everything they were saying, but they threw mac 'n' cheese in the air, which I appreciated at the time
  • 1998- 98 Degrees - Ft.Wayne, IN - An arena full of screaming girls - I probably got permanent hearing damage from that, but remember loving every moment of it. I bought my first over priced concert t-shirt which I couldn't wait to show off at school the next day :-P
