This might be fun... (then again, maybe not).
Share your first concert memory. Who was the headliner? Where was the venue? What year? Did you have fun.... get wild?
I'll start: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Boston Garden, 1981. Awesome show... I was 16. Drank vodka for the first time in my life.

The first concert I went to on my own (I went to several with my mom when I was little) was metallica in 2003 with my husband (he was my fiance at the time). I was 19 and it was in gillette stadium in Foxboro Massachusetts. We rode over with my husbands friend, his sister and her husband and my brother in law and sister in law. We were in an old (1970's) Suburban with attached plates and an attached inspection sticker. We got home around 4am and had to be up at 5 for work. My other brother in law wound up falling asleep behind the wheel on the way to work and got in an accident and nearly died (he had just turned 18 the week before) and was in the hospital for a week and rehab for 2 months. He's fine now though.0

The Monkees in 1986 at the Bloomsburg Fair in PA with my best friend and my Mom.
I was 14 and had the biggest crush on Davy Jones, who was 45 at the time. Now I find out that he's married to a woman 6 years younger than me. First I was too young for him, now I'm too old for him! :laugh:0 -
Guns N Roses & Metallica with Body Count opening at the old Mile High Stadium in Denver. I was 14 sor 92 or 93, I guess.0

Bryan White when I was 10 years old. My family was very much into country music and he was soooooo cute! I remember I almost passed out because my uncle lifted me up so that I could touch his boot Then that same night, I saw Meatloaf. That was an AMAZING experience. That was in 1995 at Summerfest in Milwaukee!0

My very first concert was Bobby Sherman at a local theatre in Connecticut. I was with my mom and I was a teenager. After that, my first "big girl" concert was David Bowie.0

1980? 1981? It is all so fuzzy! It was an outdoor concert with Journey, Quarterflash and Foreigner.0

Haircut 100, about 1981, Hammersmith Odeon. Concerts are never as good as your first one.0

Oh man, I went with my dad to Billy Ray Cyrus when Achy Breaky Heart was a hit....I was maybe 9? I still have never forgave him for that...
But the first concert I remember buying tickets for was Vertical Horizon, 1997, Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, NH! Woot!0 -
