My gosh, I think this may be the most awesome thread I've read.
I reckon go for the second date - you stand to make a twenty, and possibly entertain everyone again.
As for who pays, I'm a girl and my ex hardly ever paid, I paid for the first date and the second even though he asked me out.
Didn't even know that wasn't normal, but I guess now's as good a time to learn as any!
