    I have to wear make up for work to look professional and put together. but I just do my eyes, and wear lip gloss. I don't even own foundation.

    on weekends i tone it down but often still wear it. not so much in the summers when i am off and going to the beach a lot.

    Yes, I wear makeup most of the time. I don't wear it at home, but if I'm going out in public, I always throw on a little - bit of neutral eyeshadow, line, mascara, a hint of blush. I wear more when I "go out" and to work. I don't wear a lot, but as I get older I'm finding I wear a light/medium foundation almost always. I am fair and all those years before sunscreen was in vogue were not kind to me. I could look worse, but I definitely look better with makeup!

    I wear a little. Concealer, foundation if I'm extra splotchy, some blush, maybe tinted lip balm. For date nights I add in some mascara and lip stain. That's kind of it. I tried wearing more makeup for a while, but I felt like a big faker.

    I wear concealer, foundation, eye liner and mascara on a daily basis.

    I do it so I can feel better about my appearance. It doesn't work, but I'm so used to applying makeup daily that I continue to do so.

    I've never worn makeup a day of my life and I don't plan to. I didn't even wear makeup on my wedding day. I don't knock it though, I have 6 sisters and they all wear it. I think since I grew up a tomboy and always made fun of my sister for wearing it, that as I got older, I just never thought about it..........besides I am too cheap to start wearing makeup, I'd rather spend that money on my dogs or my home :) lol

    Wow. Amazed how much attention this post generated. I am a makeup wearer - except sometimes on weekends when I'm feeling lazy. Otherwise, I don't leave home without it. Reason - I know I look better with some basic makeup and if it makes me look better, I'm going to do it.

    I wear makeup when I go to work because I had a boss hold a meeting when I was younger stating that we had to wear makeup at work and I know it was completely directed at me because I was the only female there who didn't wear makeup, but I don't do much because I do have sensative skin...No foundation..light powder to even skin tones with light mascara and lip gloss usually most people think I don't wear any at all its very minimal. If it's a special event I do a bit more with eye shadow and eye liner to feel dressy and pretty. At home I like feeling comfy and free so casual all the way and make up free. :happy:

    I see some amazing things done with eye makeup especially in magazines that I think looks beautiful but I think my eyes are to small for it and that I'd end up rubbing them into a huge mess due to my sensativity to it.

    DANG!! That would have really offended me, if my boss told me I HAD to wear makeup. I can't wear makeup, it makes me look like a clown.

    I always wear makeup. And it doesn't take me long to put it on at all. I have mastered putting it on in five mins. And I do it to enhance my features not to change anything.

    Well I personally love make-up. I feel pretty when I wake and I feel pretty with make-up on. I enjoy wearing it because it changes things up. I could look more classy/sexy/cute/fun whatever I like with make-up. I never wear A LOT of make-up (meaning I don't cake it on), but I have a lot of make-up products. Sometimes I wear a little (concealer, tinted lip balm, & mascara) when I am running to the grocery store or to run other errands, and other times I spend more time like when I am going out with friends or dinner ect ect where I play up my eyes and contour ect. Then there are times when I don't wear any at all, like to the gym or beach. I don't do it for men. I do it for me. To feel good, and emphasize what I already have. Obviously I care weather men find me attractive or not, but I don't get ready to leave for men to look at me. With that being said I am a typically girls girl, and though I do not judge women who don't wear make-up I could never understand it either lol. My best friend never wears make-up I still think she's gorgeous. But she could really make her eyes pop with a little mascara ya know.

    :blushing: I wear cake layers of make-up to auditions, porn-star make-up when I'm dating.....natural. correction make-up for work, and absolutely no make-up on the week-ends!

    Or do you feel like you wear makeup for other women? (because we all know women judge other women way more than men do)

    Do you leave the house without makeup? How much makeup do you wear?

    95% of the time I don't wear make up. I always wear it for nights out (but not loads) and occaisionally in the day but it's only for me. I'll think oh I fancy wearing such and such today just for a change. Sometimes I wear a little bit of plain mascara and/or foundation/powder under my eyes if they look terrible ie: I'm tired and have dark circles!

    I don't do it for men or women, I do it because sometimes I feel awful with tired looking eyes and/or uneven skin tone. Or mainly it's because I just fancy a change. It'll take me about 2 minutes (except night outs which are about 5-10) I don't care at all if women judge me because of it, I'm not unhappy with how I look without it, men have never said anything about it and my bf even prefers me without (something I'm more than happy about)

    I'll most definately leave the house without it, and don't really understand why someone couldn't. I've spent too long before waiting for friends to do a full face of make up before even going to the shops and I just think why? You look fine without - or even for a little bit, all it takes is a minute.

    I wear mascara and eyeliner, but nothing else.

    I wear it because I have since I was 16 and I don't think I look like me without it. It makes me feel more human and presentable. I don't wear any other makeup because I hate feeling like I have anything on my skin or lips, it all feels greasy and like I have clay plastered to my face, and before anyone says, yes, even mineral makeup. It blocks my pores and I hate the feel of it all. Even powder.

    Nearly everyone I know who wears foundation has crap skin. I don't know if it's a chicken or egg thing.

    I wear it mostly on the weekends. I wear it for me first, hubby second. I use bare minerals just for the fact it blends better, doesn't cake up and does not make me break out.

    I wear just enough to even the skin tone out with the base. I don't go dramatic unless we are going "out". Just a light coat of eyeshadow, a little mascara, blush, and a neutral shade of lipstick or gloss is the normal for me. When we go to a event or dinner I go full "warpaint" Liner, three to four shades of shadow, lip stain/liner/lipstick, two shades of blush, bronzer, basicly the works!

    During the week...I don't wear any. I work as a welder and it would all melt off in a quick minute! I just do a coating of a good moisturizer.

    The only make up I wear is lip balm and gloss on top of it. Sometimes it's tinted. That's it. I don't really need or like make up, as it makes me look older. Lip gloss does the trick. Most men I date are surprised that I'm not wearing some sort of concealer or foundation because my skin is so smooth (their words) and I get complimented a lot because I don't wear as much make up "as the average woman".

    I have nothing against women who do. My mom has to wear lots of it because she has a skin disorder.

    Not to mention, I prep *a lot* for my dates when it comes to picking out what to wear, styling my hair, shaving, lotioning, keeping eye brows waxed, mani/pedis regularly, etc. So if I had to add on makeup, I'd go crazy. LOL

    Every day. Not over the top or anything, but I feel so pale and sickly looking without it! I will never ever leave the house without foundation, blush, eyeliner and mascara.

    I wear make up ~ because *I* like it :) My husband, believe it or not, doesn't care for it. He thinks it is nasty. He won't kiss me if I am wearing any sort of lipstick or lip glass.

    I keep it simple, tho. A very light foundation, a bit of powder, very little eye shadow and mascara. Every now and then I will use liner on my eyes...but only because my eyes are the one thing I like about me!!

    I wear make up sometimes. I like to feel pretty, for myself mostly but also my husband. It never hurts to get those little compliments from others sometimes either. If I'm home, usually I'm not wearing any. I leave the house without it a lot. I like playing around with it though, especially those youtube tutorials.
