I wonder also sometimes too when I read my HRM and it says a high number but yea you. So my husband came home and i guess the snow blower just ran out of gas. :laugh: Leave it to me not to check that before starting to blow snow. :laugh: O well I just learned something I guess.0

Hey everyone! I am off to a really slow start... Having a newborn isn't as easy as I thought it would be during the day :sad: I really wanted to get up before my fiance went to work to go workout and get my day off to a good start but I didn't get to sleep until 2:00 am this morning and I was exhausted. I am waiting for my fiance to get home now so I can hit the gym, even if it is just to go on the Eliptical machine and do a little bit of the weights... I am just in dire need of encouragement!0

I have two kids that are 7 and 5 I so know what you are doing through. You can do it. And Im very proud of you that you are so motivated with a newborn. I can't say I was. :drinker:0 -
alright its 8:30pm here in MN and well I feel bad for not working out. I know I did with the blowing snow but I just don't feel it not sweating or whatever. I should have worn my HRM dang. My husband is not motivated and we didn't fight tonight. :laugh:0

I don't know if I'll lose anything this week....my last 14 lbs are giving me a fit.
I just started strength training/toning, so I think maybe I'm gaining some muscle. ( I got on the scale yesterday and it said I gained 1.5 lbs.
I just hope that changes by Wednesday morning.0 -
amanisto- i know what you are going through - my first baby was " twins" - boys.. talk about no sleep and no clue what to do ?! .. let me just tell you - you are amazing to even think about exercise with a new born, motivation enough ? .. If you have the energy to think of exercise, i'm sure you can do it.. - how about finding few good dvd's for a start instead of going to the gym that way you could do it whenever the baby let's you instead of depending on husband to come and take over ? just a thought..
but with dvd's and a jump rope ,= 30 day shred .. or biggest looser dvds' or even billy blanks " boot camp " or " amped " program - you can get amazing results without having to leave the baby ..

I am down 1.2 so far this week...had been on a plateau since 12/22 so I am elated! eating more, exercising more and losing - what a concept.
I think today will be an off day for exercise - I've been on a 8 day streak but my hip is killing me and this morning I got an email thru Denis Austins site and it talked about having a rest day too - so today is my rest day - having a hard time even walking so rest will do my body good!
I've done well on my calorie intake even with meals out.

You guys are doing a wonderful job. Way to go. Im very proud of you guys and I love you guys. you are all so supportive its just great. I weighted myself this morning and I lost the "water weight" from my TOM but Im going to wait till tomorrow to do the final weigh in because by then my TOM will be gone. Exercise will happen today while the kids are in school or tonight. Have a wonderful day everyone.0

I just read the Black team they have this BL commerical challange i think that's a really good idea.. are you guys up for that.. during comercials do something.. jumping jacks, push ups, run the stairs ( i make my kids run the stairs during comercials ) :happy: .. anything.. it's our last chance bf the weigh in ? ?

I like the commercial thing! Unfortunately, a friend of mine is moving and some of our friends are throwing him a going-away party tonight and I think I'm going to go. :indifferent: I'd really rather hit the gym and watch BL while working out, but... I also want to be there for my friend! :frown:0

Now- because i'm a person without any friends - maybe you should be there for your friend and record the show.. and there's another night to hit the gym..
but again.. if you are like I was and trying to be there for everyone and pushing " what you want and need " always on the last place on your list,.- than . you decide
I decided to take my needs and my " wants " into cosideration- consequences- no more friends..
maybe an expensive price.. but the time will show if it was worth it ..0 -
I definately like the commercial idea - we are in our arctic season so there is no going out to exercise (lucky if the car starts, much less me) - so to run the stairs during a commercial or throw in about 30 sit-ups quick certainly would work for me. Thanks for the idea sharing.0

Alright guys I'm back in action. I did KenpoX today and burned 502 calories. I'm feeling pretty damn good. I had a nice heart to heart with my older brother last night, just talking about stuff and he's going to help keep me accountable. I'm ready to fully commit to this more than I already have. I'm doing great!

I love the commercial idea however I do the DVR thing. However I am willing to make that time up if I can figure out how many commercials are on during the 2 hours and for how long each commercial is I will make up that time so that will be my last chance workout. I love the challege and Im up for it. Lets do this thing. :drinker:0

Well, I made a compromise. I am going to my friend's going-away party from 7 to 8:30, then I'm going to go workout.

Im here its a little later but im here. Im watching the biggest loser now. Im glad I have the DVR. I brought my son to wrestling and then I came home to put my daughter to bed and do my sons spelling words and then I worked out and ate supper and now im finally watching some TV ugh.0
