    Racists (I had recent experience with this one...just plain ugliness).

    Been there! This one girl used to have a problem with the fact that I took my responsibility as a dog-owner seriously. For example, I had to make sure I came home to put them out, etc. She told me once, "You need to get rid of those dogs. They're ruining your life." That was the last time she and I saw each other. :)

    The two I'm dealing with right now: Communication and Honesty. You either have them, or you're out. In fact, I just gave "him" an ultimatum with a deadline. Either do something about it, or I'm gone. Hiding from the problem won't work this time.

    as a guy...i would copy the OP's post...and add that my girl must not be a alpha girl! dont want a woman that it has to be her way..someone that will listen and communicate and share everything.

    one that doesnt want to control the household, but work as a team for a common goal....shockingly that is hard to find.
