I'm on day 17 and I have pics on my profile with my transformation....

I got this from sometimes eating my exercise calories and sometimes not, I'm trying to trick my body regularly so it doesn't get used to anything so I can see faster results.... but I do the shred everyday and only clock it as 22-25 minutes of circuit training, general, depending on my effort or dumb bell weights (either 5 or 3 lbs). The exercise is actually 27 minutes but I don't count the cool down.

The first pic is just a cute pic of my face but the second and third are the beginning of the shred and the last two pictures are as of today.... Go ahead and check 'em out

So I know there aren't very many men who actually do this program, but I did and am very happy that I did. I didn't take pictures ( I really should have, I am kicking myself in retrospect), but I was able to see better results than I even thought I would. I lost a total of 23 lbs during the entire process and a ton of inches. I was very pleased with the intensity of the program. I thought it was a great way to get moving again and after I was done was very ready for more intense training. I would highly recommend it for anyone getting started.

I finished it a week ago and moved onto Ripped in 30 :D
    Measurements:

    Weight: 108.4-104.9 (3.5 pounds lost)
    Waist: 26.5-25.5 (1 inch lost)
    Hips: 32.5-31.0 (1.5 inches lost)
    Thighs: 21-20,5 (0.5 inches lost)
    Arms: 13-12.5 (0.5 inches lost)

My measurements and pounds don't say as much as the mirror does. I feel transformed, especially in my arms and back. I was surprised I only lost half an inch in my thighs because there's a world of difference there! Even though I have a long way to go, the 30 Day Shred was a great start and a great push :) I took way too many rest days and had way too many splurge days, but now I'm ready to give Ripped in 30 my ALL!

How intense are the workouts? I have just been diagnosed with mild/moderate degenerative disc disease, but want to get started on something and I'm not allowed to run. Would I be able to handle this?

    Bump!

I am on day 7 of level 1 and need some motivation as I've gained weight since starting the shred!

Don't get discouraged. Actually I recommend ppl to not weigh themselves the first 2 weeks of 30 day shred, your muscles will retain water to help themselves heal. As long as you are eating ALL your calories that day, not necessarily the workout calories, then you will be fine and will start losing again when your muscles start to get stronger. Don't get discouraged. Just keep making your body better!!

As this is my 4th go round with the Shred, weight gain typically means muscle gain. Try not to focus on the scale but on inches lost. I always measure myself prior to starting, then every 10 days. I bet you will see a difference! Stay encouraged and DON'T STOP! ;)
