I posted on that thread. My mom is a "grammar nerd" as I like to call her so she's always pointing out stuff like that. Because of her, I notice that stuff too. But I would never read anybody's post and be like "Dude, your grammar sucks. I can't talk to you anymore."

my mom is a grammar nerd too. she is always correcting mine but that thread a lot of people were just talking about really the way people typed. most of it was typing too fast. but I don't think that the start of that post was meant to be mean. I sometimes have to remind myself about the one o instead of two.

Aha-- aforementioned genre to which I referred that I avoid. (and do note, dearest friends, the impeccable grammar-- ha! My grandma was a grammar buff, too-- she lived with us for awhile-- )

    Priceless!!!

There is the funniest note, I need to take a picture of it-- on the toilet tank of the China Buffet restaurant where we eat near my house--

    "Toilet Water Unsuitable For Drinking."

Is that really necessary to tell people?

I'm *pretty* sure I'd stop eating there, Marla! LOL

Spyguy - Love your wife! I hope she decides to stay around the SAHM thread! Oh, and the Bat Cave exit sign. We had that installed for group meetings. I get lost easy. :embarassed:

speaking of poison ivy-- have I ever shared with you lovely people my poison ivy experience? This past May-- so very lovely. I knew I was pulling it and washed my hands "thoroughly" when I came back in-- apparently didn't do the trick. See below-- my blood pressure shot up-- it was hideous. Never again-- (and this was the second time it happened to me-- this time I REALLY mean never again-- )

Sam, so glad your sticking with us. After reading the nice chatty posts and laughing so much my family now officially thinks I am nuts, I realized that we are a guilty bunch. Everyone is woried that they are the reason Sam was going to leave. I am glad to see its not the Black Team that causes trouble in fitness paradise.

Hey, no guilty conscience here-- who could possibly have a problem with mild-mannered, meek, non-opinionated, vanilla, milquetoast me?

I like crunches though. Not that they do any good for me. I will have a great looking stomach after that 3rd kid though. Whether it takes surgery or not!

LOL I was thinking the same thing...this body has done zero crunches...as I was telling Jeannie, my stomach is too big to be crinkling and smushing it up!

I know I have the ability to have some awesome abs, but the fact of the matter is my seond son blessed me with some extra skin. He was super baby & was potioned so that his head was pushing on my belly button & he was pushing on my kidnesy with his feet. It was neat. :indifferent: Therefore, I have a piece of stomach that looks like a giant raisin...the more weight i lose, the worse it gets. Surgery sounds pretty good.

Laura - You crack me up! How's today going for you?

Marla, what's your take on the flat abs, Miss Nine Kids?

Sounds like you all have been busy today...that's a good thing though. I have a confession...I have been bad with the crunches too. Though if it counts for anything, there was plenty of twisting in the Zumba class I tried today.

BTW, Marla...I  you for what you wrote in that other thread. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Today was good...no exercise...I'm building up to it I swear...but I stayed in my calories both today and yesterday (well I went over yeserday by 60 and today by 10), and that's an accomplishment these days...so I'm proud of myself...and I have most of my meals for tomorrow logged so I should be okay there too...

I have been told by many people to not have anymore. they just keep getting bigger. Madison was 8 11 and 21 inches long and Ava was 9 4 and 21 inches long. They were both 2 weeks early! I was told Ava was going to be smaller then madison but to no avail.

I know what you are talking about with the stomach thing. Mine is not as bad a Kate's from J&K plus 8 but it's pretty bad.

Sam - did you have gestational diabetes with either of them? Z was 8'7, M was 9'9 & Tabitha was my "tiny" at 8'3. I know Marla had some bigguns in her brewd, too. If I remember correctly, pushing 10# or over. Anyways, is it your dr. telling you not to have any more b/c I think that's silly...but then again, I don't know the whole story, I guess.

Nope. I was 1 point away from having it when I took the test and they made me retake it and I passed with flying colors.

No the Dr. I have is awesome she would never tell me not to have anymore ( i have c-sections) but she has told me that the next one "could" be bigger. It's people at work. I swear in one week I had at least 3 people ask me if I was having twins and when I told them there is only one baby in there they asked me if I was sure! UMMM HELLO it is my body and my baby! I did good with poundage as well I gained 34 pounds with both of them. Of course I started out 10 pounds heavier with ava then I was with madison but I gained the same.
