    Stayed the same. Bad week, my birthday and we are celebrating Thanksgiving. YIKES, hopefully I will have a better week next week.
  • Week 1:

    I did 13 miles in running/jogging this week! I am so proud of myself. I never would have thought I was capable of that, lol. Janie and I are becoming runners!! :D
    I always drink water, so I have no problems there.
    As for the push-ups. Umm, no comment. Lol. I didn't make the challange.

    Good news, I am down 4lbs!! I am less than half way to my first major goal!! I am excited about that. Hopefully, I meet it before 2012. Hopefully running 3 times a week now will make that happen!! :P

    PS: Everyone of you is doing such a fantastic job!! Way to go guys! :)

    I was pleased with the weight loss but I really goofed on the fitness part. I guess I only read the water part and completely missed the rest. So I focused on the water and did fairly well. Some days better than others. The week before this challenge I walked 2 miles every day but life happened this week and I was so busy that I didn't walk. On the positive side I was really busy so didn't have much time to sit around either--was on the go all day so hopefully that helped me burn calories. It really helps me with my eating to know I am going to have to put my weight out there for all to see by the end of the week.

    I am so stoked for this week two challenge. I didn't lose last week, but that's because I was fighting bronchitis, but I'm back and ready to get going!!!

    I weigh-in on Sundays...is that okay?

    I am SO IMPRESSED with everyone's progress. Looking good!
    I am so late for posting...Weight remains at 202. I got very off track last week between TOM and in preparing for my sprint triathlon, as I did not complete the challenge last week. I completed the triathlon yesterday, and it was an incredible experience. I plan to complete more races next year! I entered the race as a means for motivation to exercise. I finished the course with my best time ever 1:39:44 .
    So far this week I have completed the 5 miles and then some (2 miles walking/jog and 9 miles on the bike). Have not completed jumping jacks, but I plan to catch up!

    2.15 miles (mostly) jogged today! I've never been a runner, so I've been steadily working my way up from my already fast walking. I usually do about 3 minutes jogging out of every 10 on the treadmill. I flipped that today so it was 3 minutes walking and the rest jogging. My knees are a bit sore, but I'm proud that I got through it!

    My water challenge every day....Jumping is a no-no for me and my knee replacements, so I do arm curls to at least get moving along with the walking.

    sucking on the challenge for this week. work has completely consummed me. Working to try to keep the nutrition good and stay afloat.
