Managed to complete 12 miles so far, but only 40 burpees so far. Those burpees are sooo hard! Water is easily accomplished0

Omgee the burpees. I sort of gave up last week and tried to give myself some time off so that I could focus on myself. I have decided to also put up the scales and to not get them out again until the 31st. I know that I won't be at a 10 lb lost come Monday, I may not have lost any weight, but I can't WAIT to continue this onto November! I will lose 10 lbs each for November and December so that I can be at my goal weight before the New Year's!0

My NSV for this month: The other day when I got out of the shower and went to dry off, my towel went all the way around my body for the first time in my adult life - and it wasn't an over-sized towel! :drinker:

totally fell off the wagon with all the challenges. I cannot wait for grad school to be over so that i can have some of my life back. Currently trying to find someone to work evenings for me so that I can start to focus some on myself. To all those out there that have had a great month...congrats!

A NSV for this month is wearing the shirt I've worn today. It's a Cullen Vampire Baseball League shirt I picked up at a TwiCon convention back in June '09. This is the first time I've ever worn it because it was a little tight back then. It's a quarter sleeve shirt that's white with purple sleeves, so the white would show my gut when I first bought it. Now, the gut is gone

Water done, burpees done (trainer loves burpees), 1 mile jog today. It was a good day.0

Slacked on the challenge this week, I've been working in my running. I'll start the real burpees tomorrow and see how many i can get done.

I lost 9.7 lbs this month!!!! Hoping by monday it will be up to 10! Thanks for the challenge it was great! See everyone in November!!0

I am thankful for my health!! I just realized this week how much becoming healthy has really improved my life! My whole family (4 kids and my husband) managed to get the flu this week, and even after cleaning-up after and taking care of everyone, I still managed to escape it. There's no other way for me to explain that other than to attribute it to my new healthy self and the prayers of my friends. That would never have happened 2 years ago, so there's my new NSV!!! :-D0

I am resigning from the October Challenge. I know it's only the last week but I need to set priorites right now. I have completely let myself go. Treats have been all around me and I fell back into my old habits. It is not fair to all of you to keep going with the flow on the challenge when all of you are working so hard and I haven't been. I need to take those baby steps all over again to get where I was before. The eating habits, the logging, then exercising, then back to the challenge when I am on track again.
I will still be around and checking out the message boards and keeping up with all of you inspirational people. I am so proud at how far you have all come and I want to wish you good luck on the next challenge and I hope to see you on another when I am ready.

Well guys, I'm sorry for being gone from the forum for a while. It has been a busy month at work. Exhausting, lol.
Anyways...I DID IT!! I made this months 10lbs challenge!! Exactly 10lbs today!! Haha. It's fantastic!! I have also made my first holiday weight goal for Halloween!! So, this is what it feels like to reach a goal...it feels awesome!! LMAO!! Oh yeah, and my nsv for this week is that I have noticed that ALL my clothes make me look gangsta haha. Unfortunately I can't afford new clothes now, so I'ma roll gangsta for a while :P. AND I have been told by a few family members that they see how different I look and that I am looking great! I'm not good at taking compliments at all, so I kind of just smile and change the subject haha. But it still made me feel great.
I may not have posted anything, but I have noticed that you all have been doing so great!! Keep it up guys0 -

Well, October was a really slow month for me...I only dropped 3# ....I think that my body is just resting. I am going to have to give it a kick start and get it burning again.
BTW, I have a picture of me from one year ago as my profile.....my current pictures are in my profile. This reminds me that I will never go back to that again and inspires me to get to my goal.

Burpees suck. That is all.
Only managed 80 total, walking I did great and have done 21 miles of it this week. Water as usual was a breeze. I'm hoping to lose a lb this week *crosses fingers for more*0 -
