Well, I'm only mostly dead....
Actually, I feel fine ... sore & tired but good otherwise. And now I'm going to bed because we're going to spend the day with my daughter and son-in-law tomorrow, then dance lessons tomorrow night taught by some other teachers since the kids are going out of town for the weekend.

Evening ladies,
What a friggin roller coaster of a day. I have NO idea the effect today is going to have on me lol. Here's what went down. My meals were good. I got soo hungry this afternoon and one of the people I work with said that she had a serving of trail mix I could have and I figured why not, So she said you can have all of it and gave me a bag. Didnt look like much so I ate it up while I worked some reports. Well I then took the time to look at the nutrition facts and....450 calories for what I ate. Eeeeeek! at least it wasnt empty calories. Well I figure ah well not biggie. But it gets even weirder. I obviously make sure that I get to the gym tonight. So I hop on the elliptical and go. Gym has a tv on the ellpicals so I start watching my thursday night line up. And after each show ends I think...If I leave now I will miss my next show. I'll just stick around. until that one is over. Before I know it I look down at my HRM and I have been on the elliptical for 1 and a half hours. I didnt want to skip my strength training so I did that too. Well final tally was 1144 calories. So I got home and ate something right away but I am still 1200 calories under my goal and I ate 1780 calories today. It's 10:14 so I dont want to eat anything else because it is late so I have no idea lol. Ah well I will try to have more control over my day tommorow. :noway: :grumble:
Dave and I have only had our elliptical for about 2 weeks but I have never "accidentally" worked out for an hour and a half. I set it for 45 minutes and am about ready to pass out after 20. :laugh: So I think, you rock.

You're outta control, spyguy! Yowzers! I, on the other hand, stopped my weight training 15 min. in last night b/c I realized The Office was coming on & I can't do both at once! I girl has her priorities. :bigsmile: I hear Lori doing 45 min. on the elliptical & my tushie hurts thinking about it...and hour & a half?! Geeze a loo, dude! Try to control yourself today. :laugh:0 -

HI everybody, just wanted to say hi, I am having a really rough day, it is that time and since I have only been on this heathly living thing for two weeks, it absolutely sucks. I am not doing horrible, but I want lots of junk and it is SOOO hard to resist.

Good Morning to you! DH's assessment went great, he also had to go through a physical assessment and he past that as well. Now he's waiting for a job to open up and they will call him for an interview! He's applied at this company four times before and has never gotten this far so keep your fingers crossed for him:flowerforyou: I hope your having a great morning!!!!!0 -

Good morning everyone.
This weeks challenge is good for me as well. Much discipline to measure - but it seems to be helping.
I ended up swimming last night 45 minutes vigorously and then another 15 minutes trying to keep my daughter swimming. She was really pooped, but had another 100 yards of backstroke before she was done. So I offered to do it with her. Not my best stroke, so was a bit slow..
then went home for a banana peanut butter smoothie - well worth the swim..
tresa - your post cracked me up - I've only done Zumba once (then they cancelled the classes:grumble: :grumble: ), but that is how I felt.
punka - glad to hear things are going well for your DH
marla - excellent job on the sleep - makes you feel like a whole new person, right
lynnie - hang in there, tomorrow will be a better day
sara - chasing kids around is just as good for you as lifting weights, wish there was a category for that in the exercise post.
everyone else - you all sound like you are doing great - keep up the good work..

I'm SO jealous you were swimming! I haven't been swimming in years & nearly signed up for a Y membership last week b/c I so badly want to start swimming again. That PB/banana smoothie sounds delicious, too! Man! I need to get off of here today. I'm getting hungry.:grumble:0 -
Good morning Black Team! Well the Cheetos got the best of me last night, I had to have some, now this morning I am trying to figure out why I thought I needed them. Dumb TOM! Today is a new day, a better day! I am AMAZED at the number of calories I used to consume in a day, it is no woNder I am fat.
Sara, hope you have a great day! I agree chasing kids should be an exercise in itself. I am taking my oldest two and a couple of friends bowling today so hopefully that should count as some exercise.
Marla, sleep is a WONDERFUL thing! Ever since I quit the soda pop, hence caffiene, I am sleeping very good. After four years of not sleeping and lots of Tynoel PM, I am starting to feel good again. I am glad you got some last night!
Spyguy, you are amazing, I can hardly do 10 to 15 minutes on that machine. You ROCK!
Amelia, I am so glad your husband got this far in the interview process. Hoping and praying that the right positiion opens for him.
JanieBeth, I went into the pool yesterday, although I am quite jealous of your actual swimming. I was able to swim very little, it was for my 4 year old hydrotherapy and the therapist and I work together with her. I used to take a water aerobic class and I am seriously considering signing-up again. I have to decide if I want to get up at 5 to get there.

Wow!! We are a quiet bunch tonight huh? Not much from me either. I worked all day and ate all day. I am way over on calories and everything else. I can't help myself when I am bored at work I just eat and eat. I can be home all day long and not eat anything but the minute I get to work everything changes. Tomorrow should be better. We have kids signed up for the program in the morning and then I am going to see if I can go home early because it's supposed to get to about 45 as a high and no one will want to do activities so we don't need 3 people there.

Today has been a day of ups and downs. Up because it's the last day of work for me. I have two days off now! Down because I felt very sick after the gym (dizzy spells, weak spells, hot and cold spells, very strange), my mind kept wandering to bills that I haven't paid yet and that I can't pay until the end of the month, my clothes aren't any smaller and honestly that bums me out a little when I'm walking around in these super unstylish, dumpy things (all I could afford that would fit boo). So anyway, I'm not sure if I should be happy for two days off or just overwhelmed by the challenges of life in general.
Oh well. If I can find a place to ice skate tomorrow I will be happy.0 -
