I have a couple too. A dolphin jumping over my ankle bone-I love Dolphins, and I designed a chain of hearts going down my hip bone that represent my family. Each heart is in order down with their first intial hidden within part of the heart, and colored their favorite color! My next and probably last, with be a memorial of my bestfriend at that dreadful time. My yellow lab, Jada.

lcorell- i type a lot too- so we can team up

don't like joell either.. so annoying.. and the fact that she was tempted for the money there.. really i think her friend would have strangeled her !!!..

i got my workout in with jillian this am- but i'm sooo tired.. i had only 2-3 days of no exercise since mid december.. it's a lot for me :) i'm proud of it but exhausted too.. and i'm scared to take a break, my commitment was to stick to it.. 6 days a week.. in the am' no excuse.. so .. i have to stay true to myself..

i'll just try to get some coffee.. got a headache ..

Yeah, I agree about Joelle!! You just reminded me of that, lol. Put in that situation, I think I would've sat my big (but not for long!! well.. at least not *this big, hehe ) bum down on the ground.

Joelle should have gone home not Jerry! I do like the girl who won immunity- that was very sweet of her to give up her phone call.

I have to say - after making fun of Joelle for being so whiney, I thought of that when I was doing the 30 day shred level 2 today - I wasn't giving up!!

Hey! Just checking in at a 213 even! I think I am down from last week 1.5 lbs!

I totally agree about Joelle, her attitude sucks and it made me so sad that Jerry had to go home rather than Joelle :-(

Hey guys! I'm putting together our stats, sorry I'm a little late coming home from that tattoo thing. I'm missing a BUNCH of weights though.

Rach - how did the tattoo come out??
  • RachVR6
    RachVR6 Posts: 3,688 Member
It came out great. When I orginally got it done it took 5 hours and I did it in one sitting. Big mistake, because of how big it is, it all had to heal and once, so normal movement and having it rub on my clothes really messed up the healing process. So I got some of the color back in and really punched it up! Love it! Now I have to figure out what to do for the rest of my half sleeves!

Sorry, I apparently am losing everything but the weight. I will lose next week, no matter what it takes, I swear. I think my having to feed daycare kids 4 times a day is not good for me - I have found myself grazing. I need someone to smack my hands. Actually, the guilt of bringing down the team should take care of this - keep faith in me.

So tonight I went out with a friend to applesbees. :grumble: I didn't do good but tomorrow is another day and no eating out. I went to wal-mart however and stocked up on frozen veggies that is my new personal goal. To eat frozen vs canned. I also got enough stuff for suppers for the next week or so. That way Im prepared. You guys are great support. :drinker:

    Small accomplishments....
Yesterday I got on the stair stepper at the gym, and I was able to do 10 minutes! It was easier than I thought it would be - I didn't know I was in that good of shape already! In fact, I got back on it and did another 10 minutes! I got on the recumbent bike in-between. A lady at the gym (I think she's relatively new, don't remember seeing her) said to me, "you make that look easy. Can you show me how to do it?" That is the greatest compliment you can give me! I told her when I was done, I would help her. She could only do about a minute, but I told her to keep trying and build up. When I first tried it, I only did 2 minutes.
Also, yesterday I was shaving my legs, and noticed...my calf muscles are starting to get definition! (hey at this point, I'd rather see muscle than fat! )

Good morning!! Hey Im awake in the morning everyone write this down. LOL  Rach your first snow fall. Why don't you take some of ours and along with it take the -51 right now that we have too. Brrrrrrrrr The cars won't start its just a big pain. So Im choicing to stay inside along with the kids who have yet another day off of school. At this rate they are not going to get a summer vacation. My goal today is to workout and to eat my veggies.

rach- do we have the other teams results and our teams results?? I don't mean pushy.

Yea they're posted in the BL WEEK 2 results in the motivation and support section. I've received a couple more weights so if you check back there in like an hour or so it'll be a little more updated.

Here you go guys. I emailed the rest of our peeps that I need weights from. And as a reminder...If I don't receive a weigh-in from you, 2 weeks in a row, I'm going to take you off the results that I list so that your weight doesn't hurt our team. If/when I receive an updated weight from you, I'll put you right back on. And if you no longer wish to participate in this, just send me a message and I'll take you off the list. :flowerforyou:

    I got the blues......

Hey guess what - I did all three levels on the Biggest Loser Cardio video - I am so proud of myself!

    Gotta keep my body moving!

Planned to have hamburgers tonight for dinner - haven't had beef except 1 time since Sept 1. Something different. I guess I'll use George Foreman - I am out of gas on the big grill outside and it's cold. My closest grocery store only sells up to the 93%/7% - so I've preplanned and I am good to go....gonna add some sauteed onions and mushrooms to it --YUM!

My family will think they're getting a treat with a burger that's real beef and not turkey!

    Happy Thursday my fellow BLUES!

Alright blue team lets do this. The black team got us this week but remember that the second week is always worse :grumble: so lets make the other teams mouths drop when they see our weigh in's next week. We can do this. I know there have been talk about challenge so here is my thought. Lets stay in our calorie limits till the next weigh in. Think everyone can do that?? I know you guys can do it.

    go blue!!!!:drinker:

Ok so the challenge is to stay in our calorie limits for the whole week.. Well.. for the start it just so hapens that today i am over the limit- and that's a first for me since i'm here - but i will make myself go do the 30 day shred now- even though it's rather time for sleeping than exercising.. but .. it's only 20 minutes.. I have to do it....

I'm tired.. but I have to do it.. ( can you tell i'm talking to myself.. i hope it's working.. my mind is on the pillow, my butt is still on the chair and not moving.. but my brain keeps saying- go work out..

hm.. i don't know which one to listen to .. :grumble:

Hey there everyone - it's a new day. My kids and I went grocery shopping last night and I got MY food for the next week. Wow, healthy can be expensive when you go for the "I am on the run" foods.
RachVR6 - I see that you said MD - I used to live in Frederick and Bethesda - it is always fun to hear how things are there now that I am suffering the bitter cold of Wisconsin. We are having a "usual" Wisconsin winter but the last several years have been mild so everyone forgot what Wisconsin was really like.
Hope everyone is warm and healthy. I just took the garbage out and the cold took my breath away. I came in coughing like I used to when I smoked. Wow, the memories.

Good morning people!! I'm here to find some motivation to put the computer down, get off my chair & get MOVIN'!! It's so stinkin cold here in PA!! At least it's white, bright & pretty!! But, I could just get under some covers & watch movies all day (kid movies, mind you!!) Anyway, I'm looking forward to working out today. Yesterday was my rest day so I'm really feeling the need to get movin'!!
You people are amazing & you crack me up!! Just what I need!

j_g - I'm gonna have "flabby body be gone" in my head all day now!! & congrats on your success by the way! You are so very close!!

hotmom - I'll be thinking about your freak of a husband - men are all the same aren't they!!

    Keep Movin!!

My dad and sister are living in Frederick, up on Braddock Mtn. and I'm over in Hagerstown. It had been 40-60 degrees all winter and then this week, out of nowhere, it's in the low teens. Brrr!

Yay I worked out for the first time since baby today! only 30 minutes but for 7 weeks after a C-Section, I am damn proud! YAY YAY!
  • I really didn't want to work out today. The kids have been sick this week. I didn't work out yesterday due to a multitude of EXCUSES (the outside temperature being one of them).

So today, I forced myself to do it. Usually, I can push my way through and am glad that I worked out.
Not so much today. My nose was running and I felt pretty silly trying to do some Taebo and wipe my nose between moves. I did burn 325 calories even though I wasn't giving it my best effort.

I know that it will be worth the effort at weigh in:)

    Hey amannisto,

Congrats on completing a work out today! 7 weeks after a C-section is amazing. Good job!

I'm a little annoyed because my TOM came a few days early, even though I'm on BC (didn't know that was possible :noway: ). Oh well. So feeling pretty lazy, but I WILL do my plyo after work. I will, I will I will......
