The drinks? They're good and I grab them sometimes, but I wouldn't plan on having them alone. They don't keep you full for very long at all.0 -

Thanks for the reminder. I was away from the computer yesterday and did log in the calories. I tried to make good choices for the most part. I don't think I will take the time to log everything for yesterday.

Planning on hitting the gym tonight, and maybe even shovel some snow too! We finally got our first snowfall last night! Unfortunately that means I probably won't be able to walk the dog (he doesn't like shoes!).

Second of all, you guys are busy!! Wow, lol, it's so inspiring to see people with such busy lives making time for all their exercise and eating right, even though it's hard.
I've been resting my knee & doing stretches for the past four days. I meant to get to the gym yesterday, but ended up spending time with the boyfriend. :ohwell: I'm going today as soon as I finish my protein shake! I'm going to try the elliptical for a bit to see if it bothers my knee. If so, I'm just gonna concentrate on lifting weights today. THEN, I'm going grocery shopping! Woohoo! :bigsmile: :drinker:
Oh! I have a weird for you guys! I bought a heart rate monitor from Wal-Mart. I think it's called an SX or something. $50. It worked okay for a bit (I guess?), but then it just went nuts! I was on the elliptical. There are heart rate sensors on the handles of the elliptical, but I was just holding the bar at the front of the machine where there are no sensors. Well, the elliptical started showing my heart rate! I checked my HRM and it was in sync with the elliptical. The calorie burn was different, though. And, after a few minutes, my HRM stopped showing my heart rate. It did the same thing on the treadmill the next day, so I took it back.
... anddddd, I spent the extra $50 and ordered a Polar F6! :bigsmile: Should be here today.
Happy Monday everyone!!! I'm off from work today. I hope you guys are doing well!! I'm a little weary of the weigh-in this week since I took so much time off, but hopefully I won't have gained any.

Bad news for me. I didn't do well this weekend with calories. Too depressed I guess. I dislocated my shoulder AGAIN (5th time now) in my sleep. So I spent Sun. 300am-730am in the hospital bawling again. They doped me up so now I'm finally moving, but still soooo tired. Slept all day yesterday and last night. Just awake to eat. Shouldn't have bothered, but too upset I guess. So help, I need to get back on track somehow! TOM too. Nice life....0

Alright I have been very patient for you guys :grumble: where are you?!?!?! I suppose a lot of you work and have a life with me on the other hand sit here waiting for something interesting to happen. :laugh: Well, Im going to go workout (earlier than normal I know) then Im going to sit on my butt again and watch all our monday shows with my husband. O maybe I could do some homework with the kids that is a geat idea.0

So I did some exercise. Made me feel a lot better. My shoulder is very sore, feels worse than ever. Maybe the Doc putting it in place in the wee hours screwed up. Or didn't like all my swearing I was doing while I was sedated and cranked me extra hard. Anyway. I'm still trying to be positive, my husband would kill me if he knew I exercised. He is totally pro exercising but is sooo tired of going to the hospital. And he says he can't stand seeing me in such pain and can't help me. Hopefully Mar. will come soon for the surgery. Thanks for the best wishes.0

Alright everyone I did it I did the extra 10mins of workout well with the warm up 15mins and then my husband and I did LEVEL 3 on the 30 day shred. alright everyone drum roll please...... I burned 1,268calories. :noway: :noway: :noway: I had to look several times to make sure i got it all right but the HRM never lies right. :huh: O it better not because Im eating all these calories. Im short on calories anyways so i guess im going to be pigging out. :drinker: yea me. O by the way i don't think Im going to be doing level 3 again for a while hang on how many calories did i just burn maybe i will along with 15 mins of BL cardio everyda my flab will melt off.0 -
Well, I'm back on track. I had to take last week off cuz of my feet. I walked for 30 mins on the tredmill today and I've ate good.0

L - I got the black diamond women's polar f6 from ****s sporting goods. It was $109 but I paid extra for the speedy shipping (2-3 days) I'm impatient & I figure if I'm already spending that much whats another $10 - right?? I can't wait to get it!!:bigsmile:

I did 10 minutes on the stair master tonight, in addition to my normal work out!! I didn't quite burn as many calories as j_g though! Unfortunately I didn't get to take the dog for a normal walk, due to the snow (and melted then re-frozen snow turned to ice!), but we got out for a few minutes.
I got the Polar F6 in black...my choices from Best Buy online were that or PINK and I'm not that into PINK!

My knee bothered me after my workout today... but it turns out my mom has this magic massager that I used up and down the side of my leg tonight... and there's no pain!!!! None!!!! :drinker:
I've been thinking about setting a mini-goal to get a massage... I think maybe my muscles are just really tense... have any of you guys had one before?? I'm a little scared. :ohwell: Well.. probably more self-conscious than scared. :indifferent:
Well... I watched DietTribe (thanks!! ) and now I'm off to bed!! :yawn: I've already made my lunch and snacks for tomorrow and logged my entire day!!
