I'm up a few pounds today, but I'm not stressing because it's that TOM and I've been eating a lot of processed food and not drinking water so I'm sure I've got plenty of water weight right now. School's getting stressful with me trying to make myself write a 10pg paper. I keep procrastinating though!

I'm gonna try to blaze through my homework that's due at midnight tonight so I can get a workout in today!

Thank you everyone for the advice the other day. I already have my lunch packed for today so hopefully my eatting habits will be great today! I did get a workout in last night - TurboJam and burned 290 calories. I am up one pound today but hoping that if I drink my water today and get it a good workout it will fall off.
I have to work from 9 to 12 and then school from 1:30 - 2:45 and then work from 4 to 5. Then it is home to workout and watch tv.

    Have a great day everyone!!!

I have been kind of slacking off of the boards this past week. TIme to get my butt back in gear now. I have been missing my exercise classes like crazy lately. I only went to 2 last week because of no childcare and yesterday they were closed and today I am snowed in. Its not alot of snow compared to out north but when we get 4 inches here it is hard to get down my mountain so I am usually stuck here. Kids didnt have school today anyhow because of teacher work day so they are happy.

My ankle is still hurting me. I didnt do anything to it but it has been hurting for about 3 weeks now and I dont know what is wrong with it. I havent even been exercising all that much lately and it still hurts. I wish it would quit.

How is everyone else doing. Other than all that I am doing ok.

I know it's really funny!! You should try it!! ****s sporting goods!! LOL!!  I could do this all night!! LOL!! ... Okay, I'll behave!!

Nice new pic btw, shar! It took me a minute! I was wondering who the new girl was!

Ha - no, I'm not the new girl  Just realized that I've never posted a real pic of myself, so ya'll have no idea what I actually look like!

I pushed myself more last night than I have in a while - it feels good to know that I can do that, but wow am I sore/fatigued! :noway: I'm down another 0.6 lb, but I am going to weigh in again tomorrow and see if I can get down even more! I know I am losing inches - and other people have noticed already too! :flowerforyou:

    ****'s sporting goods!!!

I am ready - as ready as I will ever be!

Am I reading right - we're supposed to add 10 minutes of cardio to whatever exercising we've been doing? I have a cold and the Biggest loser Cardio level 1 even kicks my butt right now - I can't breathe but I've done it two days in a row without air.....:noway: OK so that's a bit of an exageration but I find it really hard to breath and I am cramping while doing it so I'll have to stop with either just with that.

I've done OK this week but past couple days I am at a standstill. I think my body has just slowed the loss down - that's ok as long as I contine in that direction.

Work hard today everyone as it's our Last Chance...

JOELLE MUST GO TONIGHT-need I say more!

Rach - Yes Cheif, WE ARE READY for our weigh ins!! Yahooo!!

Shar - You look so young! After I replied to your post last night I wasn't sure if that was your personal picture or if it was a picture of your teenage daughter! Keep up the good work!!

L - I'm wondering if you'd have so much trouble if you just tried doing the tread mill. I had a trainer a few years back who was anti eliptical. He said that it turned your knee out in an awkward way. I fully didn't understand because everyone says how wonderful the eliptical is because of the no impact factor. But if it's turning your knee out that might be why you're having problems... maybe try a tread mill work out & see if you still have issues! Your Polar sounds beautiful!! I bet the green is really pretty!! So zen (green tea)!! Enjoy!! Mine is being shipped now!! Can't wait!!

Jacq - Good job on planning ahead! It really does make a difference! Keep at it!

Connie - I am missing my cllasses too!! I'm hoping to get there tomorrow. It's only supposed to be 23 degrees though. I hate to take the girls outside in that kind of weather.. .. we'll see. If not, it's back on the tread mill. Maybe I'll mix it up with a little additional Cardio Kickboxing or something..

:drinker: So this is it everyone!! LAST CHANCE WORKOUTS!! Let's do this!!:drinker:

    Hi Team

I'm here..just a little busy past few days for reading/writing but i have been working out and sticking to my calories .. except a mistake .. but it's ok.. live goes on..
I'm excited about the show tonight too.. and.. the WI tomorrow ..

GO BLUE.. we can do this :glasses:

chrissy - it doesn't have to be 10 minutes, just try to do extra of something, whatever you can! But don't push your body too hard, it needs to get better! It could be extra sit ups or push ups or just an extra 5 or 10 minute walk! Just try to do a little more - every bit counts!

lcorrell - my goals for January were to lose 5 lb (over halfway there!), do the stair master for 10-15 consecutive minutes (I've done 10 minutes 3 times now!), and I had a minimum cardio minutes that I am well on my way to achieving. I find it hard though to challenge myself but at the same time make realistic goals, KWIM? As far as rewards....right now I've been rewarding myself with more songs for my mp3 player!! Longer-ish term goals are to work up to 30 consecutive minutes on the stair master (I've done it before, so I know I can do it), and I want to lose 50 lb this year. I've been tossing around ideas for a reward - an eyebrow piercing (@ 25 lb loss) and a tattoo (@ 50 lb loss)!

sanifrey - you flatter me! :blushing: That picture was taken on/around my 29th birthday! No kids - just the 4-legged one in the pic.

My next reward - bigger one.. will be once i hit 200 lbs.. i want to do the PX90 but i will not buy it until than.. i think i wouldn't be able to do any of those exercises now anyways.. but i'm excited to get that one.. .. and maybe .. but only maybe a pair of jeans.. i don't own jeans.. i refuse to buy them in a size 18-20-22.. no way.. so .. depends what size i could fit that time.. i might even get a pair of jeans

    I might be MOVING!!!

I moved in with my bf and his mom about 2 years ago and a couple months later she moved out. We lived together there for about 1.5yrs and this last december I moved back home with my mom to save some money. Now we've found an apartment we like (that's cheap!) and might be moving there. We'll finally have a place together that actually belongs to us and we can make our own. I'm so happy! And since it's a 2 bedroom.....I GET A WORKOUT ROOM!!!!!!
  • blues I am blue no loss this week so far. I am gonna weigh in tomorrow and see if there is one then. I have water weight due to my monthly but, I want to lose someone give me courage and motivation :frown:

Sanifrey - ya know . . . I think you may be on to something with the treadmill vs. elliptical. I tried the treadmill only today and my knee isn't hurting!! :drinker: I do LOVE the elliptical, though, so I may try to work it in as my leg gets stronger and I keep up with my stretches.

Thanks for replying to my question, guys!! I always like to see other people's goals and rewards. :flowerforyou: Goodluck to all of you!!

And... jeans are good, btw. You will definitely deserve them! Not that you don't now.. but.. well.. you know what I mean.

Congrats on the loss j_g!!! That is so awesome. :drinker: Darn that pesky .8... hehe.

And... Rach! Congrats on the move, if you decide to go for it! It is *so* nice to have a place to call your own... anddddd the exercise room is a huge bonus!! My boyfriend's mom and grandma are living with us right now, so, I know how intrusive that can be. . . . :grumble: And, living at my mom's house makes me feel like a kid.. lol

Okay... I'm almost afraid to say it... but the scale said I'd lost 4 pounds. :indifferent: I skipped four days of working out, ate a ton of Mexican food on Sunday, and apparently lost 4 pounds. Unless the scale is lying to me..... :embarassed:

Great job. Maybe your body needed a break! And that Mexican food might've shocked your system a bit. Whatever it was......hurray! :drinker:

K team, I've done ok with eating, I guess, and I always exercise, so I hope for even a bit of a loss. I'm going to try Plyo with my sling on. Hope I don't fall over. 4.gif. Have a good day-chat later.

Ha! Didn't fall over! Lost my balance a few times, but that happens every Sat. Nite-16.gif. jk. Some days I wish, but too many calories! I did well considering. Now, I am sitting waiting for my Mom to get back from the Doctors with the report of whether she has cancer or not. 1.gif

Not good news at all. I've had a good, long cry with I'm sure many more to come. I told her that we will be strong together. So I am going to power out, and be as positive as I have to to get her and I through our trials. 12.gif. I'm so tempted to chow, but I'm holding back. I munched on a 1/2 bag of carrot chips. So, we'll just hope for the best. 1.gif

Whew! Rach, I thought we were supposed to weigh in today. I did well on both food and excercise today, so I will wait and see what the scales say tomorrow.
