Week 4 Day 1 Level 2 complete! Didn't get a chance to measure over the weekend. Maybe today. I am thinking about when I start Week 5 adding ankle weights for a bigger calorie burn! We will see. Have a great Monday everyone!

I'm just about at the end of week 5 now, one more day tomorrow and then its onto the 6th and final week. I don't have a 6 pack, but I do have more definition down my sides definitely. I wasn't trying to lose weight, though I am currently 1 lb lighter anyway. It will be interesting what the tape measure says, I can't honestly say I've honestly noticed a big change, but then I have hardly any clothes that actually fit me!!

I am also noticing more definition down my sides. Now if I could just lose the fat below the belly button, I would be good!!

wow awesome idea! never thought about it!! i need to go buy some now! LOL... this is my last challege before I stop with all this weight-loss thing so i need to make the most of it! :))

hello everyone! well week 4 day 1 level 2!! woohoo, bring it on :) I re-took measurements- bummed I can't compare them to my last ones since I lost them... well I can really notice a difference, I don't have a 6pk but when i flex my stomach muscles, its really hard so i know underneath my baby-flab is a 6pk in training :)) LOL

 this is precisely the same as me!! TBH I am getting sick of hearing her say the same things again now 'isn't your time precious? Don't you want to get the most out of it?' :explode: They are all true, just get very tedious when you know her lines word for word and precisely where they are! Finished with week 5 tomorrow - bring it on!!

I am on level 1 and will be for one more week. i was curious, what are the differences you are seeing in level 2, how does she make it harder exactly and what types of things are difficult for you all in her level 2? does she put any different cardio stuff in there or is it the same (plank jacks and stuff)... i'm not there yet but wondered what you all thought of it.

You're in for a treat! Where as in 1 is mostly floor work 2 is opposite where your butt hardly ever hits the floor, alot of standing work and planks. I think but dont remember it all too well but maybe she repeats like 1 move some are a harder version of level 1. Its just almost night and day to me anyway.

Hopefully I will get in Day 10 to finish off week 2 today. I thought I would be doing better this week but forgot my bf has 3 days off work and when he is home all routine and schedule goes out the window. Plus I can't workout in the Living room and have to drag all my stuff to bedroom where I have maybe 60% less space of what I usually have in the living room :( Plus I have to watch on my laptop vs the big tv :( I will do my best got to get on this.

I totally agree re: level 2 versus 1 - with my HRM, the first circuit of level 1 dipped below 'exercise' levels several times (when on the floor basically) but you are hardly on the floor at all - I went from burning about 240 to 330 ish!! I'm now back down to just under 300 going into week 6, but it is hard and really revs your metabolism for sure.

Finally finished week 5 today DAY OFF tomorrow - but am doing Jillian anyway, BFBM

day2 of week 4 level 2 done.... OMG i hate this level. LOL... I consider myself in pretty good shape and I can't seem to keep up with it!! I should probably get an earlier start on it, that might be the problem. I usually do my workouts at night... OH AND I FOUND MY MEASUREMENTS!

Level 1 results: High waist: -1/2in
    Belly button area: -1in
Lower waist(the bottom pooch area where all the baby flab likes to hang out..LOL) -1 1/2in

looking forward to seeing more results!!

Level 2 has more cardio. I get a bigger calorie burn also. I don't really find anything difficult. You do jumping plank jacks (which I really like). I like Level 2 better, to me , it doesn't seem like she is all over the place like she is in Level 1.

I meant jumping jack knives not plank jacks!

Took an unintentional mini break thanks to bf being home. As I said before he is sooooo random, we went shopping most of Thurs, and then to my surprise went shopping again Fri!! Plus we planned a movie for Fri but we came home for a breather and never went back out so 2 days down the hatch. He worked today so got in the start of my week 3, woohoo I'm getting there. Feel a little bad cause I also did another core workout today so hope that wasn't too much. Now tomorrow he said we MAY go see the movie but I am not holding my breath and will try to get my workout in during the am just in case.

Did a session today. Honestly....not sure what day or week I am in. The first week I tried to do it..I didn't do it for 5 days...so I did try to get in 4 to 5 workouts this week. So..guess that means I am still in my first week. LOL...even though I can quote her word for word...UGH

corina I'm exactly the same, I just want to be finished now. I have 2 more gos through to go, this is week 6 for me.

I was thinking today, that I do it 6 times per week, so that's 18 times (6 x 3 weeks). Given the workout itself is the same circuit repeated twice, that's a slighly ridiculous 36 times doing the same thing!! It amazing the fitness/ capability change in me though, I burnt close to 330 when I started, I now burn 280 AND I use a heavier weight!! I can see more tummy definition and am hopeful of a measurement change. It will be interesting if there is one given that I have been maintaining. I do definitely see me having the level 2 workout as part of my usual DVD rotation  though I shall be taking a few weeks off completely  I'm going to do a zumba challenge when I'm done with this.

Was planning on doing Day 5 on Level 2 today, however my Level 2 wouldn't work. So I just started Week 5 Day 1Level 1 w/ ankle weights. My burn wasn't as high as I was hoping with adding the ankle weights, but it did feel good changing it up. If I can't get Level 2 to work I guess I will just finish out with Level 1.

I am with you guys on wanting to get this finished!! Ready to move on to something else!

Props to you Corina for working out after midnight!! I could never do it that late!

hey all, day 2 of week 5 is done... I also included another dvd along with it to increase calorie burn. fun fun... i have been really bad food wise and it's starting to catch up with me. I gained 2lbs and I feel my mid-section pooching out again.. I really hate myself.

I have been lacking sleep for the past 1 month. My daughter is teething for a month already (got 4 new molars) and she has been waking up 5x a night. By morning I feel like i haven't slept and during the day I can barely get my exercises in and I make very poor food choices. That is why I usually get my exercise in close to mid-night. I am hoping tomorrow I will get a head start on this DVD and I will start eating right!

corina - I reall do feel for you with the lack of sleep, it is so, so hard to eat well if you are exhausted as your body is just screaming out for sugar! I really hate teething, before I ahd kids I had no idea how long it goes on for, both my DSs got their final teeth (rear molars) at 2.5 years and it had been pretty much non-stop for 3 years by then! DD is 9 months and has 2 teeth - only another 18 to go!! :grumble: By which time presumably DS1 wll be cutting his adult teeth (he is 5.5) :noway:

    So I finally finished :drinker:

My results (which I am really pleased with!) are:

3 lbs loss (when eating to maintain)
thigh top -1.5 inches (!) - I think this is probably more from the zumba I have done alongside it..
    calf -0.25 inches
upper arm -1.5 inches (posibly using 8 lb weights??)
    waist - 1.25 inches
nipple line - 1 inch (I'm also decreasing BFing so hard to know what is what here)
widest part (saddle bags!) - 1 inch
    neck - 0.5 inches

I'm shocked by the thigh and arm change - but then last time I measured I was really disappointed that they hadn't really shifted where everything else had. So there we go, I am done!

heck ya- finally got an early start on it today. Day3 week 5 complete. :)

shoppie- yes, it sure is a pain. I feel like I have a newborn at nights. She actually slept better when she was a newborn, so I take that back. lol... well, just waiting on the "vampire teeth" to come in and then I will be good til she's 2 1/2 :))
