    I agree with Denise, the focus of this thread is on fitness goals and NSVs rather than weight loss itself. Thin is good, healthy is better. I started doing this to lose weight, but I now eat, drink and sleep mountain hikes, century rides and sprint tris.

    Quick wrap-up for November, with one more day to go:
    100 people started the challenge and moved 5,422 miles.
    18 made goal and another 6-10 will probably make it as well.
    13 participants moved over 100 miles (6 of them over 150 miles).

    74.2/100 miles is close...that is a great achievement...celebrate every single mile......it's 74.2 miles more than MANY MANY MANY people...great job...
    Not even close this month. 74.2/100 so far, but I may get in some more distance later today.

    I did it! This is my second MYA challenge. I didn't meet my goal in October, but this morning I walked/ran 5,67 more miles and I MET MY GOAL!!! Woohoo! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    So: 5.67 miles this morning and ticker updated. :smile:

    2 1/2 miles yesterday, total 52 miles for nov. Ya met my goal for the second month in a row. Good job everyone whether you met yours or not, you became more active and that's what matters.

    today - 7 miles (1 jog/walk,5 eliptical, 1 swim)

    month to date:

    swim 12.5
    total 188.2

    I didn't make goal but switched alot from the exercise bike to swimming & the stairmaster. Happy with the totals:smile:

    Yeah...........I got home from work, changed clothes and headed out the door to get my last 2 miles in. SO GLAD I DID. I am sure my legs will hate me tomorrow because of the workout and run I had already done this morning, HOWEVER, my pride would just not let me fail at my monthly goal.

    Didn't make my goal (or even close to it) this month. Not giving up though - just need to adjust to the new and wonderful pain in my back from the MS. I will set a new goal for December tomorrow.

    After a 5 a.m. workout to the Insanity series, seven hours on my feet at work and 10 miles on my bike, I am tired tonite.

    Arghhh..I didn't make my goal mileage this month. Riding my bike less has a bad effect on my moving-challenges. I finished up with a grand total of 97 miles--mostly running and walking, with only a teeny bit of bicycling thrown in.

    Will see if I can do better in December.
