    BBT is my favorite show since Scrubs. Great writing.
    and
    I TiVo it. Love it; almost as much as Scrubs back in the day.
    Completely, 1000% agree. Scrubs, in its heyday, could not be beat. That last season on NBC and the two on ABC notwithstanding.

    Not only are the writers brilliant, but I applaud the actors for keeping straight faces (although I'm sure many shoots are necessary.) Absolutely LOVE the show!!!

    Not yet... but if it can have a long enough run... very possibly. I'm talking they would have to last as long as or longer than like Cheers and the Cosby Show.

    That's a good point. And we'd also have to consider the last couple seasons. Did they employ desperate measures (Like a new employee, or a Raven Simone) in an attempt to revitalize the show? You never know what will happen!

    So we can shelf the pantheon discussion until later. But for now, I say there's nothing better on the air currently.

    The only thing I don't like is the knowing smile my wife gives me everytime Sheldon misinterprets the world (I too have AS).

    I love it! Sheldon actaully has characteristics of Aspergers (autism spectrum). In fact at some classes I've even had the teacher play part of an episode to show the class.

    You may remeber that my son has high functioning autisma dn my nephew has Apergers.

    Anyway, I really love that show. It cracks me up every time!

    Yes, this!! My son has Asperger's and I swear, they could have based Sheldon's role on him! Even his teachers have commented on it. It's so funny.

    The lady on my answering machine at work sounds EXACTLY like Amy. Makes me laugh every time. I LOVE the Big Bang Theory!

    I love it too. And yes, Amy rocks my world.

    A friend was recently complaining that it was a 'mock the guy with aspergers' show. But I suspect not. It seems to me to be quite an affectionate portrayal really.
