    Didn't list my goals for tuesday but between Monday and Tuesday I did find my tax returns and got them situated, recopied, and sent off. Took a nice walk with the neighbor this morning...about 2 1/2 miles. Got my water drank. No Christmas decorations but did get a few more gifts bought., Feel good about the day.

    Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and sharing their goals. It is always better when you don't feel like you are the only one! I thank God everyday for finding MFP and now for finding this Challenge group.

    I'm still here and still need this challenge.

    My 3 goals Tuesday were:
    1. TO GET A HANDLE ON AFTER HOURS EATING.(can I say that any louder?)
    2. take steps to get Christmas gifts in order
    3. try not to dump my boo hoos on my husband

    I completed 2 of these goals and for me that is awesome! My eating is officially out of control. BUT I am still walking & I was able to start to situate Christmas business.

    Today my 3 goals are:
    1. to slow down because I feel that "I NEED HELP" tantrum coming on.
    2. to continue to get Christmas gifts in order
    3. take steps to sort my bedroom

    I hope EVERYONE in this challenge is taking time to find peace & getting to really love & appreciate those around you. Hug Hug Hug & show love because you never know, you just never know.

    Had a good day and a small victory last night. When something unpleasant happened (a small, unimportant thing but I tend to dwell on stuff so...) I ALMOST went to the kitchen and ate, BUT I DIDN'T!!! YAY for me!

    Thanks, Mandi, but I didn't start it originally. It was started by a member named Nicole (PSUgrl921) over a year ago. Most who were in the group then have moved on to other things but I still--and probably always will--struggle with emotional eating so I find that this really does help me, still.
    And, just so you know, I set a weight goal for quitting smoking and got there in April of 2010. I quit then and so far have not smoked since. (I think it did help with the 30 pounds I put back on. Most of that was just me mindlessly eating, though!)

    Goals for December 21:

    2. Workout or a brisk walk for at least 30 minutes.
    3. Stay in my calorie goal.

    Joined in July been in many challenges and set many goals....I noticed when I work with a team I do better (don't want to let ppl down) by myself - 50/50 - but I like this here were my December Goals


    My December Goals
    *Burn 3500 calories per week - 2 out of the 4 but I still have time to make it 3 out of 4
    *3100 Jumping Jacks & Crunches for the month of December (100 per day) not really I'm missing maybe 300-400
    *Complete the Merry Fitness & 5 wk ellimination Challenges - Complete well was elliminated from one and not consistent in the other...too many people or something
    *Weigh under 150 - nope actually gained 2lbs - TOM

    Now for my daily goals for today
    100 Jumping Jacks & Crunches
    100 ounces of water
    Walk for a mile during lunch

    1) 8 glasses of water
    2) 50 of the 250 tricep dips from chargers challenge.

    4) finish up soldiers boxes so they're not too late after christmas.

  • Goals for tomorrow

    1) get up before 7:00 am to be at work by 8am...- didn't quite happen. Kept waking up all night to use the bathroom...all that water!!! then must have turned off the alarm at 5:30 the last time I got up...hubby woke me up at 7:40am...ack...
    2) drink 8 + glasses of water - yes, check!
    3) complete at least one full assessment and start to work on another - i didn't complete an assessment, but got a lot of work done on one of them and did a treatment plan and treatment report for another client.
    4) workout at the gym for more than 30 minutes - include strength training as well as cardio - did 75 minutes - 40 minutes cardio, 35 strength training.

    Hi Everyone, I went to a Christmas party last Saturday and did fine but on Sunday I ate a whole medium pizza--I went crazy! Since then I've not reached any daily goals but I'm back now so here are my goals for

    Thurs. 12/22:
    do all exercises 3 times
    Spirometer
    get into work early

    I completed 2 of these goals. Amazing what happens when you take a minute to breathe & purposely take your time even if you feel insane.

    Today my 3 goals are:
    1. begin to clean my bedroom.
    2. make a detailed list of things to do this morning.
    3. try to drink a gallon of water

    I completed my goals but notice that sticking to my caloric limit was not one of them. I'm glad I did what I did tho.

  • I wasn't going to post tonight...but I want to stay accountable...so here it goes...
    1) up by 7:30 to be at work by 8:30am...didn't get up until 7:45...but made it to work by 8:30...hmmmm..
    2) drink at least 64 ounces of water - yes...and then some
    3) work out with fit coach - and an extra 22 and half minutes of cardio to boot
    4) don't eat into my exercise calories...well..not quite...didn't quite make it on this one...those buckeyes that our cleaning lady brought over today were my doom....

    Goals for tomorrow:

    1) drink 64 ounces or more of water
    2) work out for at least one hour
    3) do some last minute Christmas shopping...ugh..

    Good Morning All!

    Updates:

    Workout track has been a dozy! The 30 day cardio was no joke yesterday was a 5-4-3-2-1-1 which means 50/40/30/20/10 and 1 min of various exercises but I did it!
    WATER was back up yesterday
    My numbers were better on yesterday slightly...

    I am still pushing to get out of the 180's this month! Tips are welcome!

    December Goals will remain the same all month.....

    1. Workout Schedule consisting to no less than 5 workouts a week. If I get more that is a plus!
    2. WATER WATER and more WATER! The life juice....12 or more glasses a day :drinker:
    3. Calorie and CARB count under required daily allotments (HARD FOR THIS SEASON)
    4. LOG IT ALL! ADMIT WHAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH TO MYSELF!

    I am new here but what a great idea. I am a sahm to 7 only 3 still at home. I also have 5 grandkids. So I am for sure busy this time of yr.I started mfp in july 2010 and have lost 90 lbs, I want to lose at least 10 more lbs

    goals for today
    1. make time for myself
    2. get in at least 30 mins of exercise
    3. get all my water in, it seems it is harder in the winter

    I was in Laughlin so everything is an approximate...close to water I am pretty sure. The Nutcracker was very nice to see...first live ballet ever. I should stress about Christmas but it won't and doesn't help.

    Goals for Fri. 12-23
    1 Must get all gifts wrapped before I go to bed.
    2 Walk today
    3. I have so much I need to do and would like to do I don't know what to choose...I think my third goal is to really work hard on goal number 1.

    I hope that December Challenge will roll-over into 2012 Challenge. This is helpful for me to accomplish at least a few decisive things each day rather than do "WHATEVER."

    I wish all who a very happy Holiday season, no matter what you celebrate! (I personally know people who celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, the Solstice, etc.--it's fun to learn about all the different traditions!)

    Ok...so I've been slacking for the last two days...I did workout on Friday...walked with hubby...but not at my usual pace and not as long as usual...didn't make it for an hour...and I did get my 64 ounces of water in on Friday and I did get my last minute Christmas shopping done..

    but...
    I didn't post a reply with my update since thursday...I have felt less than motivated lately...with workouts and with eating...still doing ok...staying under calorie goals, before exercise...and with the exception of yesterday, i have worked out everyday since starting my workouts a week and a half ago...it seems much longer than that...but anyhow...so I guess I need to get back into the swing of setting my goals...so here goes...hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

    Goals for 12/26/11:

    1) Work out for at least one hour: minimum 30 minutes cardio...
    2) drink 64 ounces of water...very important as i didn't get this much today...
    3) put clothes away...take care of laundry...

    It was a good day yesterday, even though the treats were a little hard to resist. I had already decided to not stress about it and I didn't. I am back on track today and plan on keeping the less healthy treats out of sight and to go easy on the others!

    So, despite the best of intentions, yesterday was a total FAIL! A BAD day and mostly because I was tired. I did get a good night's sleep last night and I WILL do better today!
