    Hope you find this as enjoyable and helpful as I have....amazing how helpful it is when you know you are going to post your food choices for all to see!! lol:laugh: I have also found new food ideas from the other posts ( I am really new to "cleaner" eating - I was pretty much a junk food junkie)

    I kind of snacked out last night (okay I totally did)... but I'm assuming my body was punishing me for being almost 500 under the day before.     I keep forgetting to log my food. I've just been so busy. Sorry. :frown:

    Yesterday I had a banana and pita bread for breakfast.
    Grilled cheese sandwich for lunch (found out it doesn't have sugar! WHOOT)
    6 chicken strips for dinner.

    I did not log my calories even if I wrote down what I ate so I have no idea what my calorie intake was. *sigh* It's just hard to log calories when you're eating out.

    Thanks for your suggestion I really like this idea of exposing your deeepest darkest food secrets.

    OK today was a bad day for me :sad: :sad: . I got out of work @ 0700 but it was snowing so bad (CT) that I had to wait to leave. I finally got on the road @ 0730 and by 0800 I was stranded on the side of the road :mad: . The belt that controls everything in my daughters car broke :explode: . So now I have no cell phone signal, it's cold and I'm trying to get help. Help finally came around 0915. I got the car repair ($250 unexpected expense :grumble: :explode: ) got home around 1330 slept for 4 hours :ohwell: and was back at work by 1830. I started out ok and then I just don't know what happend. I guess tomorrow is another day.

    There is a little no name grocery store by my house that sells it. It's like $4.49 for a box of 8 or 10. Really expensive but a nice change from my normal oatmeal or yogurt. Check the isle with oatmeal. Sometimes the bigger grocery stores carry it. I know Cub used to. Haven't been there for a while so not sure if they still do otherwise Super Target might also.

    Look near the instant oatmeal, that's where I found mine. One thing to watch for though, is the nutrient value. I bought a box a while back, and I've only had one or two packets from it, because there's nothing to it. It's tasty, I'll give it that, but not much nutrition or even fiber.

    Boy, that was a big dinner, and late too, I think I ate at about 8 or 8:30ish. My day got a little funky, because I had packed a bunch of stuff to eat at work, but ended up only eating my breakfast (was running late, drank it in the car) and my snack (at about 11:30--since I started eating late, my whole day was late) before my boss and I decided there was nothing for me to do and I left at 12:30. I swung by to pick up a gallon of milk and some flavor packets for my water and decided to make a big salad from the salad bar. That ended up not costing me as many calories as I thought it would. I didn't eat it until about 3:30, because I knew I'd be driving into town for my son's swim practice and working out during that time... So, by 8pm I was starving. Had double the rice I normally would have, but yum... plus, I had the calories for it!

    So I feel extremely guilty for dinner last night. My fiance got home late from work and told me he hadn't eaten all day and wanted something super super quick... and my gyros ended up being over 800 calories! I want to move on and forget yesterday and just get back on track today, but I am still so upset.
    I hope posting what I eat each day can help me feel accountable to people, and maybe I won't let what he eats affect what I eat.:grumble:
