I am back from holidays and booked 3.5 miles today first thing in the morning and I am at 14miles so far. How is everyone else doing in this 1st month of 2012 ?0

Slow start for me this month: 7.24 miles so far; but I hadn't run or even worked out seriously through the holidays so I'm easing back into it... hope to do more this week!0

Sadly my garmin device has crapped the bed
Thinking about getting a polar, but no GPS to track distance with that..Does anyone else use a garmin or other GPS type device to track mileage??

I believe that this belongs to next week but did my first 13.1 today. My first official half marathon is two weeks from today but wanted to go the distance and see how long it took. It took me two and a half hours but the course was a hard one with several steep hills. I hope to knock 15 minutes off of that on the real half marathon.

sad to say ive done 0 this week -_- ... my goal is to run at least 1 mile everyday this week. and 2 miles on the days im off. so 11 miles total hopefully!0

13.1 in one run is a GREAT accomplishment!! CONGRATS!! and thanks for sharing that :happy:
PS for this thread, the week is Mon-Sun, so the 'traditional' Sunday long run is at the very end ... the spreadsheet will be updated tomorrow so you can see your Sunday run in the spreadsheet sometime tomorrow....0 -

I agree with this, pre-map the course with Endomondo or mapmy run, then simply time your run with any device, that should do the trick... I am a fan of endomondo myselfbut I also use runkeeper....
